Argh, too many to choose from! Here are a few of mine:

Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein
Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth
All Our Yesterdays (All Our Yesterdays #1) by Cristin Terrill
Delirium (Debt Collector, #1) by Susan Kaye Quinn (and all the Debt Collector books)
Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3) by Kristin Cashore (published in 2012, but I read it in 2013, so I'm counting it)
The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken (ditto)
Warpaint by Holly Lisle (and ditto)

I'm dying to read "Rose Under Fire". And I also love the Debt Collector series.

I read other fantasy and sci-fi books that I really enjoyed, but those two were my absolute favorites. Dark Triumph and its companion Grave Mercy were two books that I could not get enough of, and Brilliance is just tons of fun.

Have you read Code Name Verity, Nicole? It was my first Elizabeth Wein book, and it's in the running for my favorite book of all time. The things she does with character and narration... I am in awe. Rose Under Fire wasn't quite on that same level, but it was still an amazing book.

I was actually thinking of that one, as I know it's the first. No, I haven't yet, but it's on my mile-long TBR list!

Debt Collector is really good. I loved Under the Never Sky and am looking forward to reading Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi.
