The rule is to combine them if you're sure they are the same book. Check out the librarian manual: []

Cameron (entropyblues) | 3 comments A similar question:

I'm trying to combine the many versions of Earnest Shackleton's 'South' into one record, but because the same text was subtitled in many different ways, I have only managed to solidify 3 groups of 7-8 versions each.

On the "combine editions" page, I can't add these final groups together as they all have different subtitles (The Endurance Voyage, the 1914-1917 expedition, etc.

Any tips?

Alien Citizen | 5 comments There is a mistake in the manual: "what librarians can do?" :-)
