Anima Miejska | 1698 comments Welcome to the challenge, Rachel. I also find various challenges helpful while creating the lists of future reads! Have fun choosing and reading :)

message 3: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Thanks. Have been through my extensive collection of 'To Be Reads' over the weekend and have just about made my descisions. Just need to upload them now so I cannot keep changing my mind.

message 4: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Finally added all of the books I intend to read as part of this challenge. Some of the covers have a bit more artistic licence than others in relation to thier covers, but I wanted to complete this challenge purely from books I already own but have not yet read.

message 5: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments 1st colour completely finished. Need to speed up my reading a little to make sure I get finished.

message 6: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Second colour finished.

message 7: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Green covers now finished.

message 8: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Purple finished, and have finally finished one of the white. The Peppered Moth The Peppered Moth by Margaret Drabble seems to have taken forever to read. Very slow going, and not enough to hold my interest.

message 9: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Finally getting through. Black is now finished but still lots of colours to start.

message 10: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments This Side of Paradise was the last of the colourful covers. Definitely not as good as some of his later works but still very enjoyable to curl up with.

Its the only way I can complete a challenge. There are so many books out there to read, but I feel like I should complete some of the ones on my shelf as some of them have been there for years and may never get read if I do not put a plan into place to finally read them.

Rachel | 13 comments White is finished now as well. Feel like i'm getting through and enjoying some of the books which have been on my shelf for ages.

message 14: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Orange is now done as well. Should hopefully get finished as the 2 week Christmas holidays are coming up. Have been a bit distracted lately and was beginning to wonder if I would complete the challenge by 2015.

message 15: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 13 comments Finally finished my challenge. I would have liked to have completed it by the end of 2014 but simply didn't have the energy to much in the last few weeks in December. But here's to happy reading and new challenges in 2015.
