Lia goes to a treatment facility and gets better. Cassie still visits occasionally, but she's at peace now.

Lia's slowly gaining back her life. The last line of the book is "I am thawing" which was a beautiful, striking line, imo.

Does anything happen between her and elija?

Elija steals the money Lia brought to run away with and leaves her. He's not in the ending.
