Lexi climbed numbly into the train, her arms crossed protectively in front of her as she sat down in one of the seats, staring at the floor.
((Poor Lexi...thinking her Uncle is dead. Wish she could find out the truth...))Lexi glanced up for a second as the escort came on but didn't say anything, a few tears were still running down her check after seeing her Uncle die right in front of her...and her dad....she had to make it back. Had to make it back for him.
She saw the tears. "It'll be alright. You'll be back soon enough."
She glanced up at her. "I have to win..." She bit her lip, she wasn't sure how she'd do it but....she had to. She couldn't leave her dad alone. "You think I stand a chance?"
"Of course! Everyone does! No one is written out."
She bit her lip, wondering how true that really was. Most times it was a Career district that won. If she could avoid them then maybe? "Do you have any advice?"
"Hm... Well." She considered. "Sponsors, of course... And not dying would be lovely!"
"Last year..." She hesitated a bit, not sure if she should continue. "Did my....did my brother get a lot of sponsors?"

She looked down, taking a breath as she tried to stop more tears from coming, only partly successful. "My twin brother....he was....he was a tribute last year."
((Luke ; )))She bit her lip and nodded, rubbing her arms a bit. "Yeah...."
She thought for a moment. "Yes... I believe he had a few. He was fairly handsome... I liked him."
She gave a tiny smile at that. Everyone seemed to like Luke. When he'd gotten picked....
She shook her head, trying to get rid of the memories. "So...what else do I need to know?" She tried to change the subject. She needed to focus on getting home.

((When I get back... I have so much stuff to do. I asked my teacher what I had to do, and she said have fun. Then yesterday she decided that nope! Just kidding! I actually had two projects, an essay, and three paragraphs to do!))
((Not so bad for two weeks, in my opinion. Seems slightly cruel, though. XD))
((I have to find 10 newspaper articles and analyze them, and then find 12 types of advertisements, find what type they are, and analyze them. And the analysis has to be a paragraph for each. Sigh...))

Teal hummed, rubbing her arms gently as she entered through a door on the train. Her eyes swept around, a frown on her face as she spotted a couple people. She looked away, wanting to just walk away and never return mostly because well she wasn't in the mood to deal with her tributes or that... escort.
Lexi looked up as someone else entered the room. Her mentor. She let out a shaky breath, wanting to say something but not really sure what to say so she just gave her a bit of a nod. biting her lip.
Teal finally inhaled, looking at both of them a little seriously as she approached them. She shrugged her shoulders then gave a slightly unwelcoming smile. "Hi, how is everyone?" She asked as she eyes the tribute. Young like she was now where the male was she wasn't sure.
'Horrible' Lexi wanted to say but just shrugged in reply. "So.....what advice can you give for the games? How did you win?" She asked. She needed to make it back. For her father...
