Baylor got into his truck again starting the car and grinning at her as she climbed in as well. "I dot think I'll ever be able to walk into that place again without getting weird looks now." He said. "It's all your fault." He teased, back out I the drive way. He didn't know if Bridget was home... Maybe he could sneak in and get a swim suit on or something. But he had a feeling he would have to settle with just his gym shorts. He didn't mind much. As long as he was with Juliet it didn't matter what he was wearing or where he was.

She hopped into his red truck, feeling like she actually belonged there. Her eyes scanned the fast food restaurant all the events flashing through her mind. She would never forget this day and the events that occured here would be forever memorable. "You enjoyed it." She grinned, opening the mirror. She eyed her appearance once again and fixed her hair. "There, that's better."
Baylor smiled brightly. "I don't think I can deny that even if I tried." He said pulling on the streets that were not as busy as they were on their way here. He started for the beach. "You looked fine before. Like your hair isn't just going to get wet when we to swimming anyway." He said, rolling his eyes. He didn't understand why girls cared so much about their appearance. Most of the time he thought they just over thought it. They looked fine all the time. Some more so than others but... Some didn't over think it as much he guessed.
She rolled her eyes, shutting the mirror. "I know, I just don't want to look like some slut." Her teeth bit into her lip tightly as he drove onto the road. She grew slightly nervous, hoping not to offend him with anything she said. She hoped that now they were in a relationship, she didn't have to chaange herself but she didn't want to offend him. "It looks fine." Juliet murmured, leaning back against her seat. She liked to look sharp so she would be taken seriously but she still looked like a mess in her gym clothes and rumpled hair.
"You don't look like a slut." Baylor said, rolling his eyes at her. Why did it matter to girls what others thought of them? Another thing he'd never understand. "You look like you just got back from the gym." He said, grinning at her and turning a corner on the road. He liked this new relationship with Juliet. He started to think about all the places he would take her. They could go on cheesy dates like to the fair I'm the spring or to the movies and they could hide in the back.
She turned her gaze on to him, momentarily befuddled by his words. It seemed like he was bittering her up for events to come later in the evening. "Hmmm...it doesn't matter anyway." Juliet relaxed in the passenger seat, subconsciously twisting a ring around her finger. Her excitement built up at the thought of going to the beach. She loved the sand and perhaps going a few feetin the water, but she could never go any further with her fear of drowning. She didn't really know how to swim but the beach still was enjoyable without those skills.
"That's right." Baylor said grinning. "It doesn't matter." He hopes they wouldn't run into his sister at the beach. Maybe she was out with Travis. He wouldn't be caught of she was gone. He knew he'd have to tell her. She'd figure it out. Bridget is a smart girl and knows how to read people just as well as Baylor himself knew how to read people. If she didn't tell him... She would figure it out and that would be worse. She would get worked up about the fact that he didn't tell her. She would make it out to seem like he didn't trust her or something because that's how Bridget is.
((Do you want them to run in to her?))She played with the lock of the passenger seat door, twiddling her fingers around the plastic. A soft smile lit her lips as her responded. She absolutely loved hanging out with Baylor, more so than anyone she had met. She only hoped that he wouldn't be taken away from her because of negative reactions from people they loved. She could only imagine her friends' reactions. She felt that they wouldn't be too happy with the relationship and might not support it. But that didn't matter as long as they stuck together.
(( sorry!! For some reason my phone didn't notify me. I don't think they should run into her yet... Later though. )) Baylor pulled into the beach parking lot, parking his truck and getting out of his side before coming around the other side and opening up Juliet's door. "Just reminding you that neither one of us have a swim suite on... Are you planning on going for a swim in your gym clothes?" He asked, taking her hand. He glanced behind him towards his apartment, deciding they were far enough away so Bridget couldn't see them. They wouldn't get caught. How long could he hide this from his sister? Would she be that mad about it? Shouldn't she be happy for them?
Her eyes fell on their clothing, scanning briefly over her t-shirt and gym shorts and his similar attire. Going to the gym today had been a rather good idea on her part. She had gotten some exercise in, had some of her favorite fast food, gotten a boyfriend. Then there was the small detail of losing her virginity in the bathroom with a guy she adored. "They can dry...or come off." Juliet smirked, as she exited his truck and staring wonderstruck at the beautiful scene before her. It was a perfect evening with the sun setting over the calm waves. "C'mon! I haven't gone to the beach in forever." She hooked her hand in his, tugging him along.
Baylor shook his head. "Not in front of all the people you won't." He told her smiling as she pulled him towards the beach. It had been to long since he last was here. It was exciting to be able to go with Juliet. His new girlfriend. Wow, he'd never get over how shocking it is that he was dating his sister's friend. Or... Sisters person that have a lot in common. Or how ever Juliet had said it since she never actually stated that her and Bridget were friends. He couldn't see why anyone wouldn't want to be Juliet's friend. Or Bridget's. They were both super friendly and fun to be around.
She grinned as she pulled him onto the sand, the small pieces falling in between the valleys of her toes. It felt incredibly soft, the golden sand beneath her feet. "Hmmm...I guess gym clothes are more attractive these days then." Juliet kicked the sand in front of her, admiring the setting. Despite her fear, she loved the beach. And now she could share her love with Baylor. She only hoped that they would have many many more memorable experiences together at the beach. Her cheeks glowed as she peered at the clear water before them. It was a perfect setting, the evening sun, the two of them there together. Perfect.
Baylor smiled at her. Enjoying how excited she got to be at the beach. Someone to share his love with. Not that he couldn't share it with Bridget. "You're attractive in anything." Baylor told her, winking at her and squeezing her hand. Even though technically he had only seen her in her gym clothes and... With no clothes. But he didn't doubt it for a moment that Juliet would make anything look good. He let himself gaze at the ocean, admiring it's beauty like he had done so many times before since he has been in California.
She descended the small hill of sand leading down to where the clear water ran into the golden sand. She squeezed Baylor's hand, a blush present on her cheeks. "You're sweet." She murmured, smiling affectionately at him. He said little things that would make her putty in her hands, dumbfounded. He could render her speechless, something she discovered was not easy to do. Her insecurities were pushed out of the way as he stood next to her by the water. She could learn how to swim, it wasn't that scary. With her hand clenching tightly onto his, she dipped her feet into the cool water.
"I try." He muttered.Baylor followed her, kicking off his shoes in the process before reaching the water. "You alright babe... You look nervous." He commented, sincerely worried about her. He looked at the water, it was calm today. No waves so there was no one out in the water surfing. It was a severely nice day and the air was perfect. It was hot but with the small bit of wind that was blowing it made it absolutely beautiful. First cheesy date was looking out to be watching the sunset on the beach with her. He grinned at the thought.
She intertwined their hands, her fingers fitting perfectly around his. She shivered as the cool water slipped over her ankles, drifting clumps of sand around her feet. It tickled her feet, a small giggle escaping her lips. "I'm good." She responded honestly, eyeing the water below her. "Just kind of scared of going out there." She never had told anyone her fear of the water. She hated that she did though as evenings like this made her wish she had learned how to swim when she was younger. Movies like Jaws didn't really help her fear, only making it escalate more.
"Oh... I see. You're afraid of the ocean." Baylor said, teasing only slightly. A fear of the ocean or what was inside the ocean was so common and not unusual to have. He himself had once been afraid of what might be waiting to eat him just hiding in the water when he was little. He'd gotten over that fear when his father threw him into a pool and he then felt like he could do anything. His father's idea of teaching his son how to swim. He never did that to Bridget. She was such a daddy's girl. "Watch to many movies... Do you believe everything you see on television?"
She craned her neck to look at him, pouting her lips. Before she had become friends with anyone, she would have snapped at them defensively, insulted by their teasing. Now, it just came naturally for joking to come easy on her. "Not the ocean." Juliet shrugged her shoulders. "Of drowning, in the ocean, that is." She revealed, sighing softly as the weight was lifted off of her shoulders. It was nice to open up to Baylor, feeling content with the way things were going between them. "Yes, there definitely is a giant shark threatening us all." She rolled her eyes.
(( I would say we should switch threads but someone has the beach thread occupied. :/)) Baylor chuckled giving her hand a light squeeze. "Alright... Well, I use to be a lifeguard in high school if that makes you feel any better. So... I know CPR. But I don't think I'll have o preform it. It'll be fine." He assured her. He stepped in a tiny bit further. The water was cold and they probably looked insane, stepping into the ocean with gym clothes on. But it didn't matter to him. He was still having trouble believing that he was here with an amazing girl like Juliet.
((Hmm...beach front of In-N-Out lol?))She smiled, impressed with him. "Hmm...so you Mr. Popular, amazing basketball player, a life guard, and my boyfriend." She named, making a list on the fingers of her unoccupied hand. She grinned teasingly, taking a tiny step forward in the water. "You've got some pretty good accomplishments, Romeo. Especially being my boyfriend." Juliet laughed before ducking and splashing her hand in the water in his direction. They looked ridiculous in the water with he clothes they were wearing, but while she was with him, she didn't care.
(( Haha! Sure, let's just pretend for the time being. Sorry my replies are slow. On Tumblr at the time as well. XD )) Baylor smirked. "Oh, you forgot amazing kisser." He teased. When she splashed him with water he gasped in mock shock. He kicked his foot in the water towards her making the water hit her. "You're gonna be sorry you ever started this." He joked. He had a feeling the thing he would most like about their relationship his how nothing has to be serious. They can act like kids and tease each other and splash each other in the ocean. It was better than way. What was the point of being in a relationship if you can't be childish sometimes and just have fun?
((I'm a nerd so I don't really get on Tumblr but I have Fanfiction! Lol ^.^))She shook her head in denial, although she could easily admit that he was an incredible kisser. As she opened her mouth in reply, his foot splashed in the water, drenching the front of her t-shirt and shorts with the ocean water. They were now as deep as midway up her calves, the depth of the water not really scaring her as much when she played around with him. "Hmmm...I don't think so." Juliet smirked, crouching down to move another wave of water at him. She released a shriek as the ocean raised and lowered slightly, moving her in his direction. She giggled, trying to catch her footing.
(( I don't have a fanfiction though I guess the website is very popular. All my writing is on my Wattpad. )) Baylor grinned only to be hit with more water. "You don't think so?" He repeated rolling his eye's about to splash her but the wave the pulled her towards him took care of it for him. He grabbed her by the waist, pulling her to him and pressing his lip's to hers. "I think you will." He said, splashing her from behind. All the thought's of everything else had disappeared, being here with Juliet had that effect on him. All he could do was concentrate on her.
((It's good. I have a wattpad but I don't write on it. Just read.))She was pushed in his direction, his arms catching her around the waist. She laughed, moving out of his arms until he pressed his lips to hers again. "Is this a punish-?" Juliet was cut off as he splashed her with the cold, salty ocean water. She pressed against him, her back feeling the change of temperature immediately. She turned her head in his direction, teasingly glaring at him. She pulled his lips against hers again before using her distraction to plummet him into the water.
(( I love Wattpad. ^-^ ))Baylor laughed until she was kissing him again and he was dumped under water. She was cruel... And getting better. He pulled himself back up playfully glaring at her right back."You're so lucky I'm not that mean and I will not push you under water." He said, sticking his tongue out at her. He took his hand and pressed it against the water, splashing her again. This reminded him of when his whole family use to take trips to the beach in Georgia. Bridget was always too afraid to get into the ocean and she'd build a sand castle instead. But Baylor and his parent's would go at a slash war for hours.
As she tried to evade his splash of whatever, she tripped over a clump of shells beneath her feet. She fell on her butt in the shallow waters, the water completely soaking her gym clothes. Her hair dipped into the water as she efforted in picking herself back up again. "Don't laugh." She warned, biting back her own laugh. A grin broke out on her lips as she pressed her hands to the sand and switched her weight to her feet. She couldn't imagine not spending her day without him. Pure chance and luck had brought them together and she silently thanked it.
Baylor bit the inside of his cheek, holding in the laugh though it was completely obvious that he was doing so. "Sorry, forgot you were afraid of the water." He joked, just sending more water her way. By now, they were both soaking wet and people were staring, he was sure, but he didn't care. Though Baylor had been dunked under water and since he was such a good person he wasn't going to dot hat to her... So he was drenched. But it didn't matter, they could go at this all day. Just like the basketball game at the gym. But no one was going to win.
She wiped the water out of her face, completely drenched with water. Her hair hung heavily on her shoulders as the water added extra weight to its thickness. Her gym clothes stuck to her skin, the material definitely wrong for the water. She stuck her tongue out at him playfully, swinging her arms around his neck. "Why don't you make it up to me?" Juliet teased him. A smirk rose to her lips as she peered at his blonde hair matted to his forehead from the water. They both looked ridiculous, drenched in their gym clothes but she found herself not caring. She could embarrass herself all she could and it still wouldn't matter, not when he was with her.
Baylor grinned pressing his forehead to hers. "I don't think I am the only one that needs to make up something princess." He said. "You are the one that pushed me under water. I could have drowned you know." He said even though he knew in water this shallow you'd have to try really hard to drown. "So I do believe you have some making up to do as well." He pressed his lip's to hers. Still not use to the taste. Though now they tasted like salt water from the ocean.
She pretended to look affronted, an aghast expression taking over her facials. She met his forehead, dragging her hand through his wet hair. "I would have saved you." She laughed. Her eyes lit up, an interested look passing over. She loved kissing him, his lips soft against her own. At the moment, their combined lips tasted like salt water derived from the ocean. It distracted her but kissing in the ocean made up for the romantic factor they were missing in the bathroom.
He was sure that they looked awesome right now, kissing in the ocean, drenched with salt water and wearing their gym clothes from this morning. He actually felt incredibly dirty and felt the need to take a shower suddenly. He was wearing the same clothing from this morning that he worked out in. Yeah... He wasn't sure why Juliet was attracted to him at this point. But he didn't care why. Only that she did. That's all the mattered. He pulled her body closer to his, the warmth of her body feeling good in the cold water and slight wind blowing.
She wasn't sure what had motivated her into first flirting with him. Was it the fact that he was the unknown face in the window at Starbucks? And then she had taken it as far as losing her virginity in a surprisingly clean bathroom the same day she met him. If telling this to others, she was sure they would be against it completely. She knew her parents would. But she didn't regret it. Now, she was here all the events of the day leading up to her experiencing a passionate kiss with her boyfriend in the calm waters. Juliet moved her lips against his, dragging her hand down his wet shirt.
Baylor smiled her warm hands making his skin warmer even through his shirt. "You just can't get enough can you?" He muttered against her lip's. He realized everything seemed to escalate quickly between him and Juliet. Their conversation's turned into arguments which turned into flirting which turned into kissing and then making out and then apparently having sex in a bathroom. Anyone that took one look at their relationship would say it wouldn't last. But why not? Everyone seemed to think Romeo and Juliet was the best love story of all time when... The story took place in three days between a thirteen year old and an eighteen year old.
Her hands gripped onto his shirt tightly, smiling softly against his lips. Her toes raised slightly as she worked at a better angle. It surprised her how she had gone so quickly from her first kiss to expertly making out with her new boyfriend. "Can you blame me?" Juliet murmured softly, brushing her lips over his. "I've got a really sexy boyfriend." She wanted to take as much as she could with their relationship, for the first time feeling actually loved. No one would support such a relationship, but she hoped that everything would work out in the end with everyone happy with the outcomes.
Baylor chuckled pressing his lips to hers deeper. He didn't care what the people around him would say. He didn't care of they satires or whispered. At this point he didn't care about anything. But he felt like he could do anything. He had to be careful with the joy and excitement though. He might come home blurting everything to his sister. Though there was things that Bridget was keeping from him that he didn't know about as well. "And I have the best girlfriend in the world." He told her.
She hummed her lips, vibrating aganst his. He was charming and sweet, two of his many characteristics that she adored. She was relieved that both of them were so stubborn people, wanting to prove the other wrong. Instead of proving each other wrong, they proved each other right by taking things in another direction and escalating with their relationship. "I like that." Juliet agreed, ruffling his wet hair affectionately.
Baylor smiled. "So. Have you gotten enough of the ocean yet?" Baylor asked her. He wondered if he could text Bridget and make sure she's not home and then sneak Juliet up to the apartment. If Bridget came home she could sneak back out again. It wouldn't be that hard... Would it? And if she happened to see Juliet they could say she was here for... Homework help or something. Baylor started to think of all the ways he could make an excuse as to why Juliet would be at there apartment.
She raised her eyebrows in interest, wondering where he was going with it. It hadn't gotten too late, just sunset right now. If they wanted, they could hang out for a while longer. "Hmmm...one second." She murmured, sliding down his body and splashing the water, ending droplets on both of them. "There, I'm done." Juliet laughed, pecking him on the lips. She felt like a real child, having fun with him not like her stiff and strict childhood forced by her parents.
Baylor shook his head, running a hand threw his wet hair just to get splashed again. He rolled his eye but smiled and grabbed her by the hand. "Alright princess. I think we should get cleaned up. Just gotta make sure Bridget's not home first. He said starting for his car where he had left his phone. On the way her picked up for shoes and ignored the stares and weird looks the got from other people. Like they haven't seen more odd couples at the beach before. He hoped Bridget wasn't home because he didn't know what he would do if she was home.
Digging her feet out of the wet sand, she followed him across the beach. Not a speck of her was dry, therefore she had sand sticking toher wherever she stepped. She felt excited, she was going to his house! Or apartment. She was quiet as they moved towards his red truck. She giggled at her reflection, appearing like a drowned rat. These gym clothes of hers probably would shrink in the wash, the salty water making the clothes unable to be used again.
Baylor didn't even at that his car was going to get wet. And it would probably smell like salt water for weeks. But he didn't care. He got in digging his phone out of the center consul and texting his sister. When Bridget confirmed she was at the library getting caught up on her homework Baylor smiled. Tossing his phone back and starting the truck. The thought of Juliet and him in his apartment alone made it all the more exciting. He was pretty sure noting could ruin his day now. It only kept getting better.
She opened the passenger side door, slipping inside. Her wet hair dangled over her shoulders and face as she bent to close to open door. It was exciting! She had a boyfriend and she already was going to his home. Raising her eyebrows in his direction, she relaxed her shoulders and leaned back against the seat. She hadn't dried one bit and felt guilty for possibly making his car smell like the beach for an extended period of time. "You live nearby?" Juliet questioned, peering out the window at nearby apartment complexes.
"Yup!" He grinned. "I would have an awesome view of the beach in my room but there's a tree and another building in the way." He rolled his eyes pulling out Of the drive way and towards his own apartment. "Bridget's at the library. She says she's doing homework but last time she went there she came back with a date to homecoming." He sighed running a hand threw his wet hair again. "But we can count on her to be there for a while. We have the apartment to our selves." He said, tossing a wink at her and smirking.
She pouted her lips sympathetically, grabbing her seatbelt from over her shoulder. "A beach front would be incredible." She mused, wishing of getting her own apartment one day with a beautiful view of this beach. She perked up slightly as he continued, satisfied with their luck. "Hmm...well I went to the gym and now I'm hanging out with you." She grinned, shaking her head in laughter. She enjoyed their snarky banter and alluding messages.
"Trust me... I know." He muttered shaking his head. "Uh, correction. You went to the gym and now you have a boyfriend. And, I am not who ever Travis is... Obviously, I'm much better." He joked. Not longer after they left they pulled into the parking lot of Baylor's apartment and he got out of his truck coming around to her side and opening the door for her, helping her out and taking her hand. "My apartment is nothing special." He warned walking towards the door and pulling his his key's from his pocket.
Juliet chuckled, shaking her head. "Yes, how can I forget?" She teased lightly. "I'm sure you would actually like Travis once you met him." She stared up at the apartment building as she stepped out of his truck. Taking his hand, she followed him to his apartment, excited to get a look of where he lived. "Well, you live there." She piped up as they stopped in front of his door.
"Nah, any guy taking my sister to anything I don't like." Baylor said shrugging. "But their lucky if I tolerate them." He said smiling. He unlocked the door letting her walk in and tossing his key's on the kitchen table. "Uh, there's a bathroom down the hall to the left if you want to shower. I think you could probably fit into something Bridget has. You're both small." He said leading her down the hall and almost knocking on Bridget's door but reminding himself that she was gone and just walking in. "Sure she wont mind."
She laughed, sympathy for her friend gone. She eagerly nodded her head, happy for a chance to wash out all the salt in her hair and to get out of her wet clothes. "I hope so." Juliet muttered as she followed him around his apartment. It was average sized but cozy with the furniture. It was absolutely perfect. She smiled as they approached Bridget's clothes, hesitant about taking her friend's clothes. She probably would be more comfortable with it if she had known Bridget for much longer and the two had bonded over something besides their insecurities.
Oliver laughed as he walked hand in hand with Natalie to the small window as she rambled on and on about her new stuffed animal Emilie got her and how much she loved it. She had a light pink sucker gripped tightly in her other hand that she was occasionally sucking on between a few words. "Yes, yes, yes, Natalie. Auntie Emilie is amazing for getting you the new bunny-"Natalie stopped walking and stopped her foot as if she was actually angry, but the smile on her face proved she wasn't. "His name is Happy!"
Oliver laughed and nodded. "Okay. I'm sorry baby. Auntie Emilie is amazing for getting you Happy, but you have to take a break and tell me what you want for lunch." He ruffled her brown curly hair as she looked deep in thought about what she wanted.
