Anyone else imagine edward to be robert pattinson as edward cullen with an eyepatch and a gun in his hand.....or is it just me?

No...I definitely didn't picture him. Although, my mental pictures of characters are usually pretty vague, but Rob Pattinson doesn't fit at all in my opinion.
Wasn't Edward sort of big and muscular? Rob Pattnison is too skinny...

The description of this Edward doesn't match the Cullen at all but I couldn't stop picturing the Edward in Divergent as Rob because they have the same name. Lol I didn't make any sense did I

I don't remember there being a big description on Edward. Besides the eye patch, which comes later.

Lol, that's what I guessed. But no, I don't see the similarities at all aside from the name.

I'm not sure there was much of one either. But from the fact that Edward was #1 until Peter stabbed him in the eye, I'm assuming he's a big(er), beefy guy. A skinny guy wouldn't have done so well.

Not really. When I pictured him, I pictured him REALLY big and buff...
Whereas, Edward Cullen is a skinnier guy. But, yeah. There were a few parts where I imagined him to be like Cullen...
