Oh, i gave it 5 stars for its plot setting, and because we get to know a lot about characters. On which chapter are you by the way?

I love the diversity of characters in this series. It really keeps the story interesting. So I am glad we get to know more about the characters!! And I haven't started this book yet.

I got the book for Christmas. I wasn't a big fan of #3, so I'm hoping this is better.

Yeah good idea. So then if someone isn't fully caught up yet, then they won't be spoiled.

That's what I usually end up doing. I'm either way ahead of everyone, or way behind, so the spoiler tags are a must.

Also, if you put < spoiler > < / spoiler > around your spoilery bits, it hides it unless we choose to see it.

So I am up to about 130 pages. And so far I am really liking it. The only thing I don't like about this series is how the author doesn't tell the reader who's POV it is, and leaves the reader to just kind of figure it out based on fonts. And since there are so many POVs, it is hard to remember which font is for which character.

That was an issue I had when I read this book as well. For the most part its pretty easy to figure out.

I am kind of used to it, but the fonts are pretty similar, so sometimes I get confused.

So I'm reading it again. I missed a lot of points that I've ignored before :P. Anyways, what do you guys think of number five (till whatever part you've read about read about him)? We'd have to use spoiler brackets and outside the spoiler brackets you can mention the page number or any other reference from which we could know about which part the spoiler is gonna be, so that spoiling could be avoided :)

It could just be that he really hasn't seen any but I've read the novellas and it seems like all of them have been discovered, just not in the right order. A little suspicious... (hide spoiler)]

I just finished this book.

(view spoiler)[ I cannot believe Five killed Eight, he was one of my favourite characters (Eight, not Five). I bet Marina is completely heartbroken and I am so happy she got revenge on Five at the end of the book. I am really excited to see what happens in the next book. And random thought: My friend and I were talking about our thoughts of John's girlfriend, Sarah, and to be perfectly honest, I don't like her at all. I mean sure she saved John a couple of times, but I am really mad how she just left her life to be with John. It doesn't make sense to me. Obviously it will never work out between them since she is human and John is an alien, but I will be really angry if John ends up staying on Earth to be with her. I mean seriously? My friend seems to like Sarah though, although personally, I don't. (hide spoiler)]

I don't really like Sarah either. When she appeared in the first book, I thought she and Four would just drift apart from each other or something but ever since that book, I feel like she doesn't really fit with the story...

Same here . I didn't think she would still be a "main" character in the book . Have you finished the book already ?

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I was expecting her to be more of a minor character that didn't get too into the Loric life, but she got so involved, and it was kind of annoying to me.

I am on page 181 and I am also not a fan of Five as of right now . (view spoiler)[ He just seems like he hiding something the way he story is so vague , never seen a Mog , and doesn't want to talk. Maybe he is nervous but he is almost worst than Nine because atleast you know that Nine is like that but Five seems like he is sneaky (hide spoiler)]

@laura IKR! They were so close to talk that stuff and then...well you know what happened... and they're my OTP!!

@imani I know how you feel. I thought the same when I was reading about him. Like one moment he's too innocent and in the other he's commenting on others.

About Sarah- please don't kill me but I really like her.
