I have been doing well with my goals for 2013 but I find that certain months are more busy/exhausting than others which leads to being unable to finish reading anything at all!
i have finished my goal for 2013. i think i read well over my goal but some of the books i read are not on the website or are being added daily or weekly. but i will keep you all posted on my progress for next year.
I finished my goal of 150 for 2013 last week, I'm trying to be patient and hold off till January 1st so I can add what I'm reading at the moment to my 2014 goal.
LOL Laura I'm doing the same thing. I started a new book yesterday and I'm reading sllllllooooowwwwly so it will be my first book to finish for the new year. It's good too so I'm just torturing myself.
Finished my last book for 2013, ending at 162 for the year. Book 1 in my goal is Sarah Maclean No Good a Duke Goes Unpunished.
If you want to post here for books in the challenge, here is a great format.
Book 1/50 -- Title
Book 4/120 -- Title
Etc. Then we can all see where you are. If you want to post more about what you're reading and tell us about it, feel free to use the What I've Read topic. :)

wow... there's a whole world of books out there I really had no idea about.... the titles alone are shocking... I'm thinking that this group is really going to be interesting
I've finished my first book, wow! Then I read a very small second book, and now I'm onto my third. Pretty good so far.
@ Jess, yes i am. i have a lot to read this year.@ Rick, that's even close to some of the ones i have downloaded so i can read or the ones from last year
3/125....starting book 4 - Raw by Belle Aurora..my sister just finished it and gave it 5 stars. looking forward to it. The first 3 books I read this year were 2 @ 4 stars and one 5 stars, hoping to keep up the good luck on my reading choices
Alisha wrote: "Have read 15 books so far. since Christmas vacation I have been reading about 3 a day"wow! are these novels or novellas? I took an online reading test the other day and I read 200 wpm, I bet yours and Lady's is way up there!
1/100 "Love Betrayed" by Samantha Kane2/100 "Defeated by Love" by Samantha Kane
Working on #3 now, "Devil in My Arms" again by Samantha Kane. I tend to read a few books in a row by same author, if I have them downloaded on my kindle and haven't gotten to them yet. Not sure where next book will lead me since I'll have all of Samantha Kane's books under my belt!

Being home sick has its advantages: I'm slowly working through my TBR list.Just finished 4/150:
Currently reading 5/150:
Will read next 6/150:
3/50: Selena Laurence - Concealed NA romance (it's for Les Romantiques GR account so there will be a official review)
Just Finished 3/50: Wait Until Next Year by Doris Kearns Goodwin 5.0* (if I could give it more I would)Currently Reading 4/50: Girl Gone by Gillian Flynn because my daughter has raved about this book every time I mention it and she has pretty amazing taste in books.
Will Read Next 5/50, 6/50 and 7/50: The three books of the Mistress Matchmaker trilogy by Jess Michaels because I raced through them last year and I want to do a leisurely read this time.
i'm alittle behind on my reading. i was sick the last couple of days and didn't read hardly anything. time to double up.

Ingrid,
Jory Strong's Ghostland series is definitely one of the best in Urban Fantasy - in my opinion. I hope you enjoy it!

"Thanks Jess!
It's fun to see what everyone's reading. I just got the notification that I'm going to be getting books to judge for the RITAs (the big award for published books that RWA puts on and you have to judge to enter) so my book count may increase significantly in the next few weeks.
Eh, it's not really an honor. I entered so I have to judge. LOL But I'm excited to see which category they give me.
Yeah probably since I hadn't taken RITA into account. But I'll reevaluate midyear and adjust if I need to. :)

Yes, that's my thought. I'll record them as read but not post a review until maybe after RITA finalists are announced.

Before this I’ve never read any of Nora Roberts’ (J.D Robb) books. I’m really enjoying this series so I’ll have to check out her other books. I also plan on reading Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series.
17/250 - Kissing Kassandra by Carolyne Cox18/250 - Come on Boys, You're Not Just Going Watch Are You? by Carolyne Cox
Blood Brothers A Short Story Exclusive Innocent Blood (The Order of the Sanguines, #2)Goodreads is counting Blood Brothers (A short story) by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell as my first book of the year so I'm calling it 1 of 41 here.
Innocent Blood, also by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell, is 2 of 41 and I greatly enjoyed it. It mixed the Bible, vampires, a little romance, and a lot of action into a wildly entertaining novel.
Breathless (Jason and Azazel, #1)
My next book (3 of 41) will be Breathless by V.J. Chambers (A member of this group)
Now this doesn't look like a book I'd normally read, but I met V.J. Chambers here on Goodreads a while back and I've had quite a few conversations with her about being an author and I found her to be a very cool, very interesting person, who has some very similar influences and tastes and I'm greatly looking forward to reading one of her books.
