Hello friends,
By request of one of our regular attendees, it has been proposed that perhaps we should step up the boozin' part of book club. Perhaps we have been so far too modest and polite, perhaps we simply needed a couple of meetings to establish in the group a certain comfort level required to throw caution to the hot summer winds, or perhaps the member who made this suggestion forgot their ID at the last meeting (hmm!); in any case, consensus was easily achieved in favour of the idea, and July was quickly declared the month of Get Fucked Up Book Club!

So next Wednesday, July 1st, have your bicycle/bus schedule/skateboard/phone number for your favourite Minneapolis designated driver/taxi service close at hand and come on down at 8pm to Nye's Polonaise Room, 112 E Hennepin Ave for a very special Get Fucked Up Book Club!

(You're too smart for your own good anyways, it alienates people, it can only help you to lose some brain cells, etc, peerpressure, and so forth.)

Feel free to bring books for show and tell, and new friends are always welcome (we're really quite nicely behaved).

See you soon~

Shawn (chewthegristle) | 3 comments Sorry I bailed earlier than usual, the best-laid plans and all that. As always the conversation and discussion was invigorating.
