History: Wolfgang Popham was born as the only child of a rich family. His parents rarely saw him and left him to be taken care of by a tutor. When he was 16, The tutor gave him a flu shot that sent him into a weeklong coma. When he woke up his parents were there in the house, but not the tutor. His body had gone through changes as well. He was slightly more muscular. He got out of bed to walk to the bathroom and his movement brought the mansion down around him. He ran away immediately. He chose the name Alix Stoico for himself and was found months later by an employee.

Personality: He is quirky and tells many lies due to his job. He is an extremely skilled liar having done it for over 15 years to keep him out of trouble.
History: Being born an experiment he has trust issues. He lived in a lab for 10 years when he became trusted he escaped and changed his face and whole identity. He plans on trying to tear apart the lab that made him this way. He has been living a normal life since he escaped .

Personality: Madara can be cocky and arrogant at times and let his guard down, but other than that he's always keeping his guard up. Madara has high standards for people, and he expects people to meet those standards accordingly. He is hostile and cruel. He used to kind and welcoming, but then all four of his brothers died, including the younger brother he loved so much. Madara looks down upon people, as he believes he's at the very top. At the same time, he also believes himself to be a failure, as he couldn't protect his family.
History: Madara lived happily with his father, mother, and four brothers. But then his mother was kidnapped when Madara turned four. The government experimented on her, but she died because she wasn't able to withstand the experiments. The government went after the rest of Madara's family. The government tried to kidnap Madara, but his three older brothers tried to protect him and they were all killed. Madara's father escaped with Madara, Madara's younger brother, and the corpses of his three brothers. They buried his brothers and went into hiding for three years. The government found them when Madara turned seven and they were all kidnapped and taken to be experimented on. Madara's father couldn't withstand the experiments either, and he died. Madara and his younger brother, however, withstood having the blood of four different benders injected in them (fire, earth, water, and wind; that's a lot of power in one person).They managed to escape, but then Madara's younger brother was killed. Before his brother died, Madara was told by his brother to take his brother's eyes, as they also wielded great power from the experiments. Madara's powers burst forth and he killed the men sent after them. Madara then went into hiding again for four more years, and when he turned eleven he discovered some armor that had been abandoned in an abandoned house. Since it was too big to wear, Madara hid it and waited for the right time. Madara stayed in hiding until he turned 13, when he met this boy. They were friends for a while, but then Madara discovered that the boy was the son of the man who had killed Madara's brothers, and that the boy's brother had killed Madara's brother. Madara vowed to kill the boy and went into hiding again until he turned 19, when he discovered Groversdale. He signed up and got accepted. By then, the armor fit him perfectly.

The user can transform into animals, as well as use the abilities, traits and appearance/physiology of animals by rearranging their own DNA structure. Users may be able to transform into alien animals and/or animals they have never encountered, such as Dinosaurs. Some may have this ability from an empty genetic code, allowing them to accept any form from which they have a DNA sample, others may be able to alter their form mentally and change just by seeing and mimicking animal features.
Personality:
Caine is all about the term "Make Love Not War" because he is a very optimistic individual. Unlike the regular bad boys running around Groversdale, Caine is a down to earth sweet person who enjoys sarcastic comments and chocolate eggs. Keeping in mind that he can be a bit disrespectful he is an overall great being to hang around, and a good influence. Caine is also very charming and protective over the people he cares about. He loses his temper way too easily and that usually gets in the way of him expressing his feelings.
History:
He was a lab experiment at age 4. His mother was a scientist and discovered his powers as a baby, when he grew paws and crawled around for a short period of time. Caine was poked and prodded by scientists who try to pin point the base of his abilities. They enhanced his powers by a hundred fold, however and instead of just growing animal limbs; he could shift into an entire animal. That was too dangerous to keep in the facility so his mother kept him hidden most of his life, and never usually got out much.
He was sent to Groversdale in hopes of containing his abilities and maybe make new friends along the way.

Personality:
Trinity is an overall calm person. She doesn’t really experience her own emotions because she is so busy with discovering everyone else’s. She cares about everyone, but she does have her flaws. She is a fighter, when she needs to be.
History:
Trinity was born as a normal human girl. There was nothing exceedingly special about her, except for her overall intellectual ability. Because of how smart she truly was, the government wanted to run tests on her and find out if she was “special”. With the tests, they did experiments, and with experiments, they created her into something special. A mutant. The experiments enhanced her brain functions and her intellect. She was kept in the government building from the time she was six until she escaped with the help of Finn The Human at the age of eleven. He put in a good word for her to the Ambassador of Groversdale anonymously. Finally, she was invited to join last year. Because it was the middle of the school year, she decided to wait until the next year. So, here she is.

Clara has the ability to harm someone's mind with intense vibrations. The mutation she was transferred was to mimic a witch's and she can perform similar tricks according to it.
Personality:
She hides behind a sarcastic veil, wishing her true emotions not to be revealed. Clara hates feeling vulnerable and will snap at whoever tries to unhinge her. She is very defensive and tends to assume things before someone tries to explain situations to her. She is known to hold grudges for very long periods of time and does not forgive easily. It is best not to hurt her, otherwise she will plan her revenge and strike back ten times harder. She can be very benevolent and gentle to those who understand her and fights for the ones she loves.

They never knew what their parents were actually experimenting on though. On one night, when their parents had gone out that evening for a special conference, both Clara and Jem snuck into their parents lab, finding a sheet covering a ridiculously large subject. They had seen both of their parents experiment on this subject for months but never realized what the subject was. When the sheet had been twisted off, underneath was a carcass, its skin peeled away from the cheekbones. Jem hadn't seen the subject yet and was examining the lab equipment next to his sister. A storm was brewing outside, and the house shuddered from the impact of lightning across the roof. With screams, the equipment began moving, falling from the shelves and on top of the two extras in the lab. The liquids mixed together, creating a dangerous substance that encased both children. Their older sister found them sobbing on the floor, their skin glowing a gold color. She kept it a secret from their parents, but eventually their secret was revealed and the children were sent away.

Backstory:
As a young child, Laylie lost her father to Cancer and her mother to a car wreck. Her brother, sister, and she were taken to the hospital and given 'special treatments'. These special treatments caused her, and her siblings, to develop powers. At the age of eleven, Laylie's sister died of an overdose. She was left with only her older brother who was nothing like her. Her brother was powerful. He had time for her, he loved her, but he also made time for discovering powers and learning how to use them. It's the only thing they have in common.

I didn't mean it...
Dekka has a deep indulging depression which could not by broken by shrinks or any therapist. The self hatred are based off of her actions. She didn't mean it. She didn't mean to do it. She truly didn't. Often she would not accept the fact of what she does and it drives Dekka absolutely insane. She can't hide the pain well either; may it be physical such as slashes on the wrists or thighs or simple breakdowns as in skittish movements and constant awareness. Hopefully she could be fixed, but it is almost a lost cause with Dekka.

Constantly she scolds her self for the simplest reasons. Maybe she bumped shoulders with the person next to her or answered a question wrong she would beat herself over for it constantly. Her apologies are loud and with a cracked voice. Dekka is always afraid of doing something wrong after...the incident.
History:
Dekka was born under a normal circumstances except the fact her mother was only pregnant with her to donate her in the name of science. So as a 3 year old she was shipped to St. Jameson Facility of Mental and Physical Capabilities (SJFMP for short) in Western New York for severe testing to her brain and her bones structure; trying to make her into something she wasn't. The tests were indecisive on whether it worked so they left her in the lab for weeks so they could get a clear answer.
When the scientists back came in to take another blood sample; she freaked. One single scream and they all fell dead, black tar oozing from their mouths and ears. A vision she could never forget. Dekka fled away from SJFMP quickly but had to kill her way out and found shelter in Tennessee. She found a male friend there--but a very older male friend. He didn't want her for her personality, he wanted her for her body. After placing his hands roughly where they shouldn't have been, the man was dead. Every day Dekka did the to C's- Cut and cried. These powers were making her go insane. She didn't want to actually hurt people. After months of going on like this, a broacher to Groversdale hung limp on her doorstep. She immediately left, bringing nothing with her but the clothes on her back, and the tears down her cheeks.

It didn’t just help. It also changed him and gave him powers. People from the government discovered what he had become and wanted to take him in to experiment on him. Buttercup is very kind, but she will not take any crap from anyone. She believes in love, but due to the fact that the love of her life died, she has given up on finding it for herself.
History:
Buttercup grew up on a farm with her father. As soon as he passed away, she was left with the farm boy that tended to the animals and everything else on the farm. She pushed him around and forced him to do things she didn't want to do. He loved her, though. So, he did everything she said happily. Eventually, she, too, fell in love with him. He went away to sea to get money for a wedding ring but died before he made it back. A prince, who needed a bride to become the king, took her in and proposed to her. Why not, she thought. The prince, after marrying her, banished her away to another land to be murdered. The people that tried to murder her, pumped in a liquid that was supposed to poison her body and kill her, but instead, it toughened her skin and her mind. She became smarter and impossible to kill. She ran away into the night looking for shelter. She is suicidal because of losing her love, but because she can't kill herself, she has to wait for death to come to her. Now, she is her at Groversdale in hopes to find help with either her new way of life or to find a way to become human again so she can kill herself.

Two words could best describe Valorie: bad girl. She was born in house filled with obnoxious siblings. Her parents were pretty obnoxious too. History:
Valorie was born in a house filled with four boys and two girls other than herself. Her parents were business partners and owned their own firm. They made tons of money. You'd think being rich would make a little girl like Valorie happy, but you're wrong. She didn't just want money. She wanted love. To be more descriptive, she wanted the love of her hardworking parents. They were too busy to be the parents Valorie and her siblings deserved. One day, Valorie asked her parents to stay home with her, because it was her tenth birthday, but they refused, claiming to be way too busy. Yeah, they forgot her birthday. So did the rest of her family. Something inside of Valorie snapped, and without any remorse, she killed her whole family. The police arrived, and instead of sending her to juvie or a mental institution, they sent her to a lab. Scientists ran tests on her, proving that she truly was a sociopath, and did experiments on her. One day, the experiments got out of hand and turned her into the mutant she is today. She tried to run away, but all of the scientists restrained her. So, she mentally shrank all of their bodies with her new powers and escaped. When Valorie turned sixteen, she started hitching rides with random strangers, always male figures. She would sleep with them to make herself feel loved, but when she discovered that none of them truly loved her, she killed them. Now, at the age of twenty, Valorie has been invited to attend Groversdale. She wants to learn how to control her powers and herself.

Kol likes to have a good time and does whatever he can to do it. He usually just goes with the flow in every decision made, rather letting others take control of situations than himself. History:
Sick from a fatal flue, Kol's parents bolted him towards the nearest hospital, anxious to save their son. ☀ Outfit/Costume: Jun usually wears simple black clothing, and never goes without a certain lab coat to wear, though entirely opposite to the ones most are used to, his is black, custom made to keep the unstable amount of energy surging inside his very core at bay. This is why Jun rarely takes it off. He prefers to wear black, which makes his fair skin, striking amber eyes and bleach white hair stand out all the more. Other than his one-of-a-kind lab coat (which includes cuffs made of fabric woven out of metal and more), Jun often wears black boots with metal clasps over the sides, all for the sake to conduct energy if necessary. This is also why his boots are quite heavy, because the soles also contain metal, fused with the usual rubber one finds on the very soles of boots. Jun, on extreme occasions, counts on the use of black gloves, which are tipped with metal themselves where one would logically put their fingers, so the tips of Jun's fingers would be covered in the same silvery metallic fabric his lab coat cuffs, collar and ends are made of.

⚡ Powers: Jun has the ability to absorb either very small amounts, or dangerously large sums of energy of any kind. He then can use the energy absorbed however way he pleases. He can use it to release it in a certain pattern that could harm foes, can use it to charge up electric items, can use it to charge up his body to allow him to run faster than usual, or use it for strength. Jun's body has it's own energy core that generates a personal source of energy continuously, and when Jun finds no energy source to absorb, he can use his own, though can easily exhaust it if not using it wisely, which is why he prefers to absorb from electrical objects or nature itself. So while Jun's power is great (and this is why it is quite so difficult to ration correctly), his original energy source is limited, given the fact that he cannot yet control it well (if he could he might not even need to take energy from his surroundings, given the fact that Jun's energy core is incredibly powerful), so he isn't as independent as he wishes to be, needing to stick by potential energy sources to keep up a good fight if this happened to be his situation. Now, Jun can also obtain energy from living beings, though he seldom turns to this sort of absorption, given the fact that he can easily kill others doing so, for living beings unlike himself have very small amounts of energy.
Unfortunately Jun is still human, mutant only being a category and not exactly a race on its own, so retaining this type of energy inside him makes him quite a bit...unstable, which is why Jun so often experiments on himself and rarely leaves his room--to find a way to prolong his shortening lifeline.
⚡ Personality: Jun is a quiet one, who prefers to analyze his surroundings before doing anything about it. He doesn't say or do anything without thinking it through first, thoroughly. He may seem a bit eccentric to others, probably because of his fondness to experiment on the living, that being more often than not himself. Though once one gets past Jun's slightly aggravating wit, intelligence and arrogant way of conversing, one will find a truly caring person inside, even if he is a little rough around the edges, even if people might consider him needing psychiatric help. While Jun can also be visualized as entirely insane, most of what he does has incredible meaning and purpose to what only others comprehend when the trouble is over with and the results are plain and painfully obvious for them to visualize. Despite how different and undeniably strange Jun may be (which is, in fact, a lot) he is a very caring person, humble, strong willed, hopeful, and reserves persistence for what things he wants most in the world.

☁ History: Jun was labeled a genius at a very young age by the group of scientists that artificially created him in a vat tube, and was raised by the many scientists working to study the way his brain interacted with challenges, the pattern of his brain waves. Eventually Jun was allowed to enter regular school, which he cleared in barely over three years, entering college at the age of 10, graduating at the age of 12. While the scientists that raised him and took pride in creating him did not allow him to leave their labs, he did take on a room among the many buildings of scientific research, where he took an interest in the concept of energy. Thus began the flurry of experiments to contain dangerously large amounts of energy, which resulted in a life-threatening accident that obliterated any trace of the labs and people he knew as his somewhat-adoptive family, leaving him in a coma that lasted around the length of three months. During those three months Jun experiences periods of excruciating pain as, which turned out to be his theory, for not even he was sure what it was happened to him, the rays that destroyed so much and spared him merged with the molecules that composed his essence, giving him his unique, and unpredictable ability, much like energy itself.
Naturally the hospital lost power as did another two mile radius when Jun woke, his ability entirely incontrollable, which led him to flee as chaos erupted. A 13 year old can only do so much in a hospital gown in the city, which runs entirely on electricity. It undeniably attracted attention, everywhere he went, anything electronic short circuiting dramatically like most superhero movies, slightly cliché. Eventually he was taken into a foster home, handed down from one to another over and over again, for adults did not really enjoy having a dangerous mutant under their care with no idea what the lengths of his ability might be.
And now here he is, at Groversdale Academy, new to it entirely, wondering if he would categorize as a student despite his entirely complete length of education or a teacher, despite his incredibly young age.

☆ Likes: Despite the grief it caused Jun, never would his love for science falter. It's quite easy to say science is Jun's first love, and always will be, like pasta would always be an Italian's first love. Jun also has a love for black clothing, and quiet, peace (despite the raging vortex of energy inside him that does not allow him to keep still, making him a bit twitchy, which is another reason why people feel he's a tad bit mad). Jun finds solace in music when he feels the need to soothe his troubled brain, so he very much likes it.

Before Birth:
Coraline Summers, a human, fell madly in love with Bertuas Galvan, a mutant.
~Bertuas was experimented on as a young child, turning him into the mutant he was. At the age of twenty one, Bertuas met Coraline at a photography shoot, in which he was the photographer. Coraline was the model for the, nude, photo-shoot. Impressed with her modeling skills, her body, and her humor, Bertuas asked to see her for another photo-shoot.
~Coraline was starting her life out as a young model at the age of seventeen. When Coraline turned eighteen, she became an ‘adult model’. Coraline never felt absolutely comfortable with herself and her body until Bertuas came along. When he asked to see her again for a photo-shoot, he left his camera at home.
Coraline and Bertuas continued to see one another for several months before Bertuas popped the big question. They were married two months before Coraline discovered her pregnancy status. All was going well in the Galvan family, but then, Coraline became very sick from her pregnancy. Coraline died while giving birth, but the baby, thankfully, survived. Bertuas, in honor of his beloved wife, named his new daughter Coralie. He didn’t want her to have the exact same name because of the pain it would bring to speak it.
Prepubescent Years:
Coralie was born as a mutant, Bertuas’s worst nightmare. She took her first steps at two months old and said her first word three days later, ‘Picture’. Without a mother to guide her, Coralie got into mischief with her father. You could say that Bertuas was more of a friend to Coralie than a father. It was incredibly awkward when Bertuas had to explain the birds and the bees because Coralie knew more about it.
Teenage Years:
At the age of thirteen, Coralie was already a model for kid magazines. She owned her own camera that she built herself. She was also a senior in high school.
At fourteen, Coralie stole her first bike from the most popular kid in school. She also had another job with a gardening magazine in which she would send in pictures she took of her own garden.
At fifteen, Coralie’s father passed away of natural causes. The scientists that had created Bertuas took Coralie in and ran their own tests with her. They helped her discover her powers and control them. They taught her more than the schools ever did, including things that weren’t necessary to learn if you weren’t going to perform in the career that needed such knowledge. She went through a phase of being an accountant until the scientists told her that it was illegal for her to do that.
Coralie’s sixteenth birthday rolled around, along with the promise of her first car, but because of a new subject, the scientists forgot her birthday. She set out and stole a car, then drove away from the facility. She had no intentions of ever coming back.
Coralie was stealing and selling the stolen cars at the age of seventeen. She kept four of her own. She was put in ‘jail’ a few times when she got caught, but the police always let her go the next day, but one day, a strict officer kept her in there for a month. She decided that it was time to stop doing what she was doing and be a better person.
Finally, Coralie turned eighteen. She was living what she thought to be a great life until the loneliness set in. She had no friends, no family, nothing. She went back to the facility that took her in after her father passed away. It had closed down when the Government stopped funding it, and the subjects had mysteriously disappeared. She heard about Groversdale and crossed America to get to the secret ferry that would take students and teachers to the island that beheld Groversdale.

Powers: Adaptive muscle memory- This allows Odessa to replicate any physical action that she sees. However, she is unable to replicate powers she herself has not been graced with. For example, she can perform a flawless Chuck Norris roundhouse kick, but she is unable to sprout wings from her back and fly.
Memory manipulation- By making physical and eye contact with another being, Des is able to delve into the memories of others and edit them, replace them, or erase them entirely. If she does not maintain full contact before her work is done, though, her efforts are void and her victim’s memories remain untouched.
Personality: Odessa does what she can to avoid confrontation; it has been drilled into her for a rather long time. That having been said, with proper motivation she has a bite to her. Usually, she is one of those people who only engage in conversation when drawn out. However, Odessa isn’t afraid to be defensive and brutal when she has a problem with something, especially if it challenges her beliefs.
History: Des has had a rather normal life, and her father intends to keep it that way. Her abilities are hereditary, passed down from her father’s side. Jackson Eve bestowed his daughter with his own powers, though he would never wish them upon his worst enemy.
Odessa’s father spends his life working for the US government through Black Ops. Jackson was recruited at a young age, when he was cocky and flaunted his abilities, not caring who was aware of his talents. The longer he was involved, though, the more he grew to regret his decision. He was worked hard, until he had nothing left to give. Jackson began to hate his life, but there wasn’t anything he could do to change it as he was practically enslaved to the government.
Things began to look up when he met Lillian. She was unaware of Jackson’s abilities and everything that came with him and he found it refreshing when she was able to take his mind off of his hectic life and burdensome powers. Several years later, they were married and settled down, at least as settled down as Jackson’s career allowed him to be. Life took a turn for the worse, though, when Odessa was born.
At the very beginning, Jackson had seen their child as a blessing… until the government looked down its giant nose at her. It wasn’t long before there were people trying to get their grubby hands on Odessa to observe her and run tests on her DNA. Refusing to let anyone tough a single hair on his baby’s head, Jackson struck up a deal. He would follow his orders without reservation or protestation, doing whatever was asked of him, promising Odessa would never be any trouble as long as she was kept out of the government’s grasp.
The deal has worked… for now. Untrusting of his employers, as he should be, Jackson has place his daughter under the protection of Groversdale Academy for the time being, hoping they might do a better job of keeping her safe and honing her skills so one day Dessa will no longer need protection.

Carter Ackerman was born on April 5th and raised by his mother and father for the first few weeks of his life. When he was three weeks old, he was kidnapped and taken to an unknown location underground. He was kept there and taken care of, up until he turned three years old. That was when the experimenting began. Everyday he was tortured and experimented on. At the age of eight, they injected an substance that was unknown to him into his right arm. Little did he know, that's what helped him develop his powers. The next day, he was taken to one of the labs for another day of experimenting. By then, he was sick of the way he was being treated, as if he were just some stupid 'test subject' and not an actual human. As he was being strapped to a chair, he gave a murderous glare to one of the scientists, wishing they would all just leave him alone. A split second later, the scientist strapping him in practically exploded, the mans blood splashing onto Carters face and the scientist's limbs dangling somewhere halfway across the room. What was left of the man collapsed onto the ground. The other scientists in the room backed away from Carter, as if he were some sort of monster. But no. By that time Carter was sick, sick of all of them. One by one, the rest of the scientists in the room were killed, their limbs slowly being pulled off, one by one, blood splattering across the walls of the clean white lab. Afterwords, Carter escaped from the lab he was being contained in, using his power, killing anyone that got in his way. When he got out, he went into hiding for seven years, terrified that the scientists would come after him again. During those seven years, he would move from place to place, trying to avoid staying in one place for to long. He found out about his second power during his third year of hiding from the scientists. He was walking along the bank of a small river and tripped over a large tree root that was sticking out of the ground. He fell over, his knees getting scraped and cut in the process. As they bled, he held his hands over them, keeping pressure on them. He let go when he felt the bleeding quickly stop and the pain fade away. When he washed the blood off of his knees, he saw that there wasn't any cut or mark left on them. Now, at the age of fifteen, he decided to enroll in Groversdale Academy. He was accepted and is currently going there, using the academy as a cover from the scientists that still hunt him down.

They were fighting over something incredibly stupid [who ate the last biscuit] when Dr. Aligaston sent them into "treatment". This treatment caused them to gain strange powers. Telling them everything would be okay, they didn't worry about it until they got too the lab and witnessed someone coughing up blood and another screaming as they were injected with the serums. Dex, being the older brother, tried to protect his sister and stop his father, but he knocked them both out. They were taken into separate rooms and experimented on. Through all the serums injected into them, they developed powers. One night, using these new powers, they escaped the lab. Dex looked for a safe haven for them and found one at Groversdale. They both joined a couple of months ago and have been trying to control their powers.

History:
At a young age, Blaise had always idolized his father and the work he did with his fellow scientists. He always followed along his father everywhere he went, watching as he mixed chemicals or experimented on a subject. Everyday, after school, he would perch himself on the seats in his father's office where he could look out the window at the work going on. As he grew older, he was further allowed to witness the experiments up close and aid his father in the experiments. One day, he had submitted to coming to the labaratory by himself because his father was ill that day. He began on the experiment as he usually would. Blaise accidentally inhaled hard water vapors after falling asleep in his laboratory where he had been working. As a result, he found that he could run at superhuman speed and had similarly fast reflexes. He knew that it wouldn't be good for his family to find out about his new abilities, but thankfully before he made a hash decision, a letter arrived at their mailbox. He was invited to attend a prestigious school where he could learn to control his new abilities. Elated, he lied to his father about the curriculum of the school and submitted himself to Groversdale.

Powers:
Rocket doesn't have "powers", but there are definitely perks to being cybernetically altered. For one thing, he can run very fast, and is extremely agile. He can also endure much more than the average human can, and has an incredible understanding of both machinery and anatomy. His implants inject high levels of testosterone into his body when he becomes angry, and make him twenty times more aggressive than any other human when he's enraged. This is... not good for the victim, if Rocket is holding a gun. His implants highly enhance both his strength and his senses.
Personality:
Randy (Rocket) may be a small guy, but he's full of energy. He's actually rather violent, and acts on impulse. That being said, although he often acts without thinking... that is not to say that he does not think. He does in fact think, and he is quite good at it. He's a brilliant strategist (he's also great at pranking people). He scores incredible grades in all of his Science and Math classes, and would have skipped two grades if his English and World Studies grades had been higher. He doesn't open up to many people... in fact, there's only one person whom he's ever opened up to. He always acts like he doesn't have a care in the world, and people hate him for it. His devil-may-care attitude and cursing help people to steer clear from him, and he likes that.
History:
When Randy was just six years old, his father (who was at the time under the influence of alcohol) signed a contract that allowed government scientists to perform multiple experiments on him. He was a sickly child, and was expected to die before the age of seven if they did not perform these experiments. However, one of these scientists slipped a term of permanence into the contract so that they could have this new subject for the rest of his natural-born life. His father signed it, of course. He wasn't sober, and was not thinking straight. That was the last time Randy ever saw his home.
The scientists never bothered to use anesthesia; it would have been a "waste of resources" to relieve to pain of such a sickly subject. They took away his name (Randy Browning) so that they wouldn't be operating on a human, and renamed him "Subject 89P13". Once that was taken care of, they considered their morals to be sound, and felt free to operate on him as they pleased. Every week, they would attempt a new treatment, and they would bring new horrors to the operating table. They decided one day that they'd stretch his spine to make him grow more, and then the next week they would shave down his spine so that he'd return to his original size. After years and years of similar torture, he'd been reduced to the intelligence of an animal due to so much intense pain, and the scientists were disappointed. Therefore, they decided to to make him as intelligent and able-bodied as they possibly could, just for fun.
They did this by giving him cybernetic implants. They gave him a cybernetic skeletal structure, replacing his bones with metal, one by one. They also enhanced his phalange and metacarpal bones, knowing that their experiments had done much damage to his vocal abilities. Finally, to give him more intelligence, they gave him genetically augmented cerebral cortex, making him incredibly intelligent. This... wasn't a very good idea.
Subject 89P13 escaped from the cell he'd been placed in after the experiment, and, due to his new-found intellectual capabilities, it was a simple task indeed to construct a small rocket with the ability to destroy the entire laboratory out of medical supplies and gasoline. Before leaving the lab, he made sure to check around for any other creatures or people who were being experimented on, and found only one who was brave enough to go with him. When the two escaped, he launched the rocket towards the laboratory, killing all of the scientists inside and putting the other creatures and people out of their misery. He didn't know his own name anymore, so named himself "Rocket" after the method he'd used to blow up his past. The two mutants had been on the run for two more years before they found Groversdale Academy.

Aspen's powers are... er, interesting. To say in the least.
Picture a tree, 'kay? Now picture a humanoid tree. Now picture... a humanoid tree that can walk, fight... you name it.
Aspen can transform his skin into the bark of a tree, making him impervious to all but fire attacks. He can regenerate limbs, and can grow from a simple cutting of his body. It makes him virtually impossible to kill.
Personality:
Despite his muscular and foreboding body type, Aspen is extremely kind, and would frown at killing anyone or anything. He never talks, and it's generally assumed that he either can't or that he doesn't know how. However, despite his silence, he's actually incredibly intelligent. Unfortunately, no one else seems to know this except for Rocket, and most dismiss him as simply muscle. He tends to shy away from guns and violence, but isn't afraid to fight if someone needs help or is in trouble. He has a fairly dry sense of humor, and one gets the idea that if he could talk, he would be slightly snarky. However, his kindly-looking face doesn't really give the sense of unkindness or sarcasm. Only Rocket understands what he's trying to convey with his facial expressions, and with his eyes.
History:
Unlike Rocket, Aspen was the son of one of the scientists who worked at the lab. However, this woman didn't want a son, and was happy to give him to the other scientists for experimental purposes. The woman only asked that he would be a long-time experiment, as opposed to one that they destroy immediately after the first enhancement. They agreed, and so began Aspen's long years of torture and experimentation.
After about nine years of loneliness (all of the other subjects died quickly), a new subject arrived at the laboratory: a small boy of about six, who appeared pale and sickly. Aspen regarded this new subject with curiosity: he seemed to be a human (as of right now) like him, unlike the rest of the subjects, who were all animals. That was the last he saw of the little boy for a long time, however.
After one fateful accident at the laboratory, Aspen was made mute. A single slice across his larynx, and it was concluded that he would never speak again. Aspen didn't mind, though... after all, who would he ever speak to? The scientists then began more experiments on him, and noticed something about him: at the end of every day, he would look at the window, as though longing for the sun. One of the scientists joked that he's like "a tree looking for sunlight", and that gave them their next idea. They began to graft plant DNA into his genetics, intending to transform him permanently into a tree. Well... they sort of succeeded. He could now change the nature of his skin at will, and possessed many of the abilities that a tree would have. But six days before they were to perform the final procedure to transform him, that little boy from many years ago appeared at the door of his cell... and he seemed to be free. The boy introduced himself as "Subject 89P13", and explained that he was about to "bust the hell out". He then asked if Aspen would like to come, too. Aspen nodded, and the two escaped together. When they made it out, the boy shot something at the lab, and the entire thing exploded. Aspen spelled out his name in midair for the boy, and gestured to his throat to let him know that he couldn't talk. The boy then told him that he wasn't a Subject anymore, but that now they both had names: Aspen was Aspen Colossus, because he's a hella tall tree thing, and the boy named himself Rocket. The two set off to find a place where they could both be free, and lived on the run for two years.

Kaira was mutated at a lab with 2% bird DNA mixed with hers. This gave her wings, great vision and hearing, and if she stays still she becomes hidden and some telepathy if she tried hard. She was able to escape when she was 12.

Personality:Ameria is very quiet and usually spends her time drawing. She has almost no friends, she has trust issues. When someone provokes her she glares and they usually go away, if not then she will slap them upside the head. She feels safe within her head and expresses herself through her drawings.
History: Ameria was a science experiment, but one that actually went as planned, except the part when they rejected her and threw her on the streets. At the beginning someone stole her and her older sister from her parents and took them to the lab at the ages of 3 months and 2 years. They explored their gene data and reconfigured it. They gave it so that Ameria was like a bird, Her older sister Kyrin into a bear. Ameria had wings and eyes like a hawk. Kyrin got ears and the claws of a grizzly bear. When Ameria did not pass a test on strength at 7 they fulled feathers out of her wings. Kyrin defended her and they were both taken to the streets. One of her wings was broken but she folded them against her back, hiding them in a jacket. Kyrin was not so lucky . A man shot her in an alley in two days. Ameria hid for a long time before coming across Groversdale. She has been a member for 5 years.

Appearance} Cicero is a tall, thin creature with a wiry frame and somewhat bony joints. His skin is covered with a layer of soft, short lilac fur and his feet have more of a hoof like shape. However the most striking part is his head, which takes the shape of a large rabbit skull with a pair of long, floppy ears protruding from it. The eyes of the skull appear to open into nothingness, containing only a soft pink glow which indicates his actual sight.
From the back, a darker section of longer fur extends from under the back of the skull, down his spine and into a long fluffy tail that slightly drags on the ground. Although the fur extends onto his mostly human hands, the palm and pads of his fingers have pale, paw-like pads.
Outfit/Costume} Loose fitting, light brown jeans and long sleeved one colour or tie-dye pastel shirts, as he finds looser clothes easier to move in. Also often wears various flowercrowns
Powers} Enhanced strength, speed, and stamina: Cicero is capable of working for long periods of time doing tasks strenuous to a human without tiring. Lifting heavy objects is easy for him and he can easily move things like tables to small cars with minimal effort. When running, Cicero can reach speeds around 4 times as fast as human, this also means that with the velocity, he can jump pretty far as well.
Limited physical invulnerability: To an extent, Cicero cannot be killed physically, and can only be permanently killed by strong magic that breaks his bonds of servitude, or those he is serving (at present he is bound to the Academy, meaning that teachers/staff or people more powerful than them can kill him), otherwise the bonds of his servitude do not allow him to die. He also has an extremely high pain tolerance, which backfires in that he needs to heal manually, and often doesn't know he needs to, sometimes rendering him incapacitated for days to weeks at a time.
Enhanced hearing: Ciceros ears grant him a wider range of hearing, a downside to this is that loud places easily overwhelm him.
Chameleon magic: Cicero can disguise parts of himself as human for short periods of time.
Guardian State: This power cannot be used by Cicero himself, he must be commanded into it by someone his servitude is bound to. In his guardian state, Cicero becomes more physically monstrous and loses all sense of self to instead mindlessly protect whoever commanded it until they command him out of it or he is killed. In guardian state his physical abilities aside from hearing are enhanced by half.
He tells very few people of this power, frightened that some will take advantage of it for the worse.

To end guardian state: "In the name of that you serve, I return sentience to you."
Personality} Cicero is a gentle and non confrontational sort who hates arguing and will almost always agree with people, even if doing so makes him uncomfortable. As much of a pushover as this makes him, he does have a strong, moral sense of right or wrong, even if he rarely expresses as such. By nature he is also fiercely protective of whoever his servitude is bound to (currently the Academy).
On his own, Cicero is a little helpless when it comes to social cues, having had minimum contact with humans in the past, and is often confused by how you're meant to ask for things, even if he's excessively polite.
History} Created five years ago on the edge of a rural town as a servant to a malpracticing witch, Cicero has lived primarily as a sort of butler. His duties were mostly in lifting, carrying, cleaning and cooking, the last two of which he has a special talent for by now. Despite his creator severely lacking in morals, she didn't treat him badly, making sure he could read and write, and encouraging him to educate himself in his free time, although far from a genius he's not been left completely helpless.
Roughly 6 months before he attended the Academy, Cicero began having what he assumed were hallucinations of being a young, human boy in the nearby town with a family and a pet rabbit. He kept these a secret from his creator until the hallucinations culminated in the boy drowning in a river trying to retrieve his rabbit. When the witch learned of this, she admitted to him that he was created from the rabbit and the boys combined memory in the last year of their respective lives, which is why he was created initially as being 12. The Witch also admitted to Cicero that the boy in question was her deceased nephew, which was how she was able to construct him so easily.
On discovering the academy not long after, She gladly relinquished Cicero of his servitude to her, and sent him to the academy.
