Aidan smiles at her unsure of what else to do. He steps a bit closer,"I would have done much worse at the diner but I looked at you and you put out the fire."
"Maybe- but still. You broke the hold Ruby had on me so I knew I must have feelings for you- stronger than I even wanted to admit. I'm just afraid of hurting you."
"I won't." he says looking at her. Was this seriously happening? He was seriously doing this. Don't screw this up.
"Okay." Aidan says glancing down at the paper. That really happened. He seriously. He. Woah. This was pretty awesome. He pockets the paper
Roni sits down staring at nothing and then grabs a book. She sighs sadly. She couldn't believe Alex was still mad at her. She would have thought Alex would at least talk to her but she wouldn't.
Roni looks up ,"oh-hello." she says unused to meeting people so bluntly. What a cute little girl. ((Did you want to do the thing with um what's his face Eminem- Marshall)
"Oh." Roni says seeing the older boy and smiles lightly at Triss,"And didn't he ever teach you not to talk to strangers?" she jokes.
Roni looks down at her necklace,"Well yes- I suppose I do." She must go to Baldiver as well. "And I suppose we aren't strangers now."
Roni nods. She was actually thankful for the conversation. Everyone seemed to be ignoring or avoiding her lately. "I read a lot, do you?
"You don't read with you're ears though." Roni says with a giggle,"But that true. Listening is good."
"Alex? You know she too?" Roni asks suddenlyHer curiosity is perked. She had no idea what was going on with her friend right now.
" very nice." Roni says observing it with a grin. As least Aex had something to do to keep her busy.
Marshall calls Roni, thinking over what he's going to say.
Roni jumps and then rolls her eyes at herself realizing it's just her phone. She picks up after digging through her pocket to find it,"Hello?"
Marshall clears his throat. "Yeah, uh, hi." He says. "How you doin?"
"O-oh hi Marshall." Roni says. She tells herself to play it cool. She stands up and plans on moving- she didn't want to be the person in the library disturbing everyone with their phone conversation. She stands up and turns to go but accidentally bumps into a shelf nearly sending the whole thing toppling. She thinks quickly and uses her telekinesis to pull the shelf upright once more. She sighs in relief and pays attention to the phone again. "I'm fine- how are you?"Two men sit in a corner of the library.
"Why do we have to wait in here?" one complains.
"Because we need to wait and see what the boy does- hey did you see that?" the man says looking at Roni.
The other man grins,"Well powers like that are much more useful than fire."
"Pretty good." Marshall says. An awkward silence falls, and he shifts his feet. "So... I'm sorry about electrocuting you and stuff..." Marshall mentally kicks himself.
Roni can't help but smile a little,"That's okay- we all do crazy things when we're angry comes with having weird abilities." The men debate it for a moment and come to a decision.
Marshall heaves a sigh of relief. *Thank goodness.* "Yeah. Anyway, so I was wondering if maybe you'd like to grab a bite to eat with me sometime?" He holds his breath, expecting a no.
Roni goes quiet for a minute not expecting that. He was asking her out? Her answer is sincere and she tries not to sound as excited by the offer as she smis, still trying to play it cool, "Yeah, sure." she says smiling,"That soun-"She gasps in surprise suddenly and all that's heard is a muffled scream before the line goes dead.
Marshall's spine stiffens. "What the he**?" He stares at his phone, then dashes out the door. Matt and Alex would know what to do.
Dallas walked though the library, looking for a book that could help him with his term paper. "No. No. Ugh, where are the books when you need them?" He said softly to himself.
Eira walked gracefully down a row of shelves filled with books. Her white-blonde hair streamed behind her.
Dallas saw Eira and decided now would be the time to ask someone for help. His shyness almost overcame him but he pushed through. "Um, miss, do you know where I can find a chemistry book?" He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to calm his nerves. She was also extremely pretty which made him twice as nervous.
Dallas looked friendly, but Eira knew looks could be deceiving. it's just a boy Eira, a harmless boy. Answer the question! Eira thought stubbornly against herself. "I'm terrible at explaining things, how about I show you?" She answered. She was surprised that the words had come so easily, but she masked her surprise by turning on her heel and walking back down he isle, sending her hair flying.
"Thanks!" Dallas followed Eira. He was still a little nervous but he was glad that she wasn't a mean or a stuck up person. "I should probably introduce myself. My name is Dallas."
Eira slowed down, reminding herself that it was normal to walk beside the person they were leading. "I'm Eira... Do you go to school here?" She asked inquisitively.
"Yeah. Do you?" He smiled. He felt comfortable now and not so nervous anymore. She was a really nice person to be around.
"Yeah." She said easing up a bit. "I'm a cytokinetic." She whisperd.
"What's that?" She asked. She wondered why she was so curious all of a sudden, but she rolled with it.
