How to make book cover appealing ?

Not getting # downloads I'd like on Kindle Giveaway days.
What's needed on cover ?
More color?
Bigger type on caption below coin ? Other ?

It's a nice cover and I appreciate the silver effect. However, my first thought in response to query was, Colour! A bigger coin? A lovely go-with shade of background, that's more vivid in thumbnail (it's lovely close-up, but I couldn't see the blue tinge without Look Inside).

I'd say a bigger coin... Use your space with picture. It's a great coin and a bit wasted at the size (until you go to Look Inside).

Hello, Henry. I think the book cover is fine -- as are all those great "5" level reviews! Congrats. What made me come to a complete stop on the Amazon book page was the lack of a BOOK DESCRIPTION that introduces the book to a potential reader. IF I scroll down, I can read the description posted lower in the page by the writer, but at least for me, I would probably stop reading at the first book description and may not jump inside to read the story. Maybe this is affecting sales? Hope my comment helps! Hi from Beth
