My first Aussie female author or could be historical novel,Ember Island for the challenge done and dusted. Now onto Sweet Damage. Not what I normally choose to read so may not finish it, but giving it a go. Reading something light and less scary as well The House on Willow Streetbut not by an Aussie.

I've been wanting to read one of his Cliff Hardy books for years. Glad I finally got around to reading one, and I look forward to reading more of them.
Just finished my first book for this challenge, and for 2014.

Wow, you are flying through the challenge! I enjoyed Loretta Hills' book, I think I have another of hers in my reading stack. I found it a little too cutesy in parts, but it won't stop me from trying out her others.

I've finished several of my 2014 challenge.Female authors:
God's Panoply
Unforgivable
I know there have been others already this year but I can't find them now as it keeps bringing up 2013 instead of this year.
I finished the first books for this challenge yesterday:Female authors
The Secret River by Kate Grenville - 4 stars
Debut novel
My original choice was Far Horizon by Tony Park but I remembered Graeme Simsion is an Australian author (and a male at that - my Aussie Author challenge list is still more female than male!) and The Rosie Project was on my TBR list and I've just read it, so I'll use this as a debut novel! Loved this one - 5 stars. Still hoping to get to read Far Horizon...
New releases
Unforgivable by Sharon Robards - currently reading this one
Favourite genre - mystery
The Green Mill Murder by Kerry Greenwood - currently listening to audiobook

I basically only say what I think.
So okay I have put Ember Island in as my historical and also have read Sweet Damage as well as Unforgivable and God's Panoply all by female authors.Deeper Places: Experiencing God in the Psalms goes in male author. I haven't reviewed this one yet. All others reviewed.
