Alex smiles as she gets ready for work. Work always made her happy. She gets her paper and pen and walks into the cafe.
Alex hears the bell from the door. "Hiya! Take a seat anywhere you like, I'll bewith you in a moment."
Alex walks up to the table. "You must be new here. I'm Alex. What can I get you two?" She asks with a smile.
Alex laughs. "It's a match to my sisters." She tells her. "Anything to drink?"
Alex grins. "Wanna know a secret?" She asks the little girl. "I control water." she whispers.
Alex laughs. "I'll show you." She runs off, and returns with two empty glasses and a pitcher in one hand. In the other, she holds a tray with the food. she sets everything on the table. Without moving the pitcher, Alex cocks her head. The iced water pops out of the pitcher and spins in the air before settling in the glasses.
Alex smiles. "How old is she?" She asks the guy.
Alex raises her eyebrows. "She's gonna have a whip before you know it." She says with a smirk. "I assume you go to the academy too?"
Alex laughs, "Well Triss, maybe I could teach you some things." She smiles and walks off to help other costumers.
Alex covers her face. She can't help but laugh at the little girl. She walks to the back to make the ice cream.
Alex checks back on the two. "Everything okay here?" She asks, looking between them.
Alex grins. "Why thank ya!" She replies. "Almost ready for ice cream?"
Alex giggles. "If you eat that then the ice cream will be right out."she assures.
Alex scoops the ice cream into bowls. Picking them up, she walks back out. "How about that?" She says with a grin.
Alex giggles. "Pleasure. Enjoy!" She sets the bill on the table and cleans another table.
Alex grins. What a funny little pair. She laughs to herself. That little girl just made her day.
AIden enters the familiar cafe and waits for Eva to arrive he glances around at the poster-boards filled with town announcements and takes a seat glancing at the menu he pretty much knew by heart.
He looks up from the menu with a grin hearing her, "Hi." he replies as she sits, "What've ya got?" he asks looking at the book.
Aiden grins, "Awesome- that was the next on my reading list." he says.
Aiden looks surprised, "Yeah? Circus's are neat I guess." he turns around to look at the poster and doesn't turn back around for a moment staring at it. He hopes he doesn't look pale as he turns back around and feels his hands shaking.
"N-nothing." Aiden says looking at his menu trying to distract himself. Why had they come? That was obvious- they'd found him.
Aiden sighs, "Just- something I thought I'd gotten rid of is coming back to haunt me."
Aiden nods. He'd told Ruby and she'd though nothing of it- he should tell Eva too.
"Just...bad memories is all." Aiden says.
Aiden sighs,"Maybe I'm just afraid of clowns." he jokes half heartedly.
Aiden nods knowing that was true. He wasn't sure he was up for talking about it right now. "What do you want to eat?" he asks taking back his menu.
"That does sound good." Aiden agrees. He orders a lemonade as the waiter comes around and places their orders. "You're hair looks pretty." Aiden comments randomly.
