Matt raises his voice in a teasing volume. "But she's soooo hot. I don't know if I could resist." He laughs, then quickly wonders if he'd gone too far.

Alex laughs. "She's a pherokinesis, you idiot." She rolls her eyes. "No duh she's flawless."
Matt lets go of his breath inwardly, glad she'd taken the joke. "Eh, I'm just clueless." He says with a grin. "Just a clueless artist seeking company."
Alex puts her elbows on the table, and her head in her hands. "Company, eh? I thought artists were more of the 'Leave me be Im busy' kind of type." She smirks.
Matt studies her, staring into her eyes. "This artist draws a ton and still has time for company." He says with a smile. He wonders if he should ask Alex out.
Alex grins. "You also scare easily." She jokes. "I swear I could snap my fingers when you're working on your art and you'd have a heart attack." She teases.
Matt smiles, knowing its true. "But you're not that mean, right?" He jokes.
She cocks her head. "You never know." She answers with a smirk. "Oh!" She says, remembering something. "Did you know I sketch too?" She asks, knowing he didn't know.
"Really?" Matt says, surprised. "That's awesome!" He smiles. "What do you sketch?"
Alex blushes. "Um... I'm an interior designer. I'm actually getting ready to redesign V's dorm."
"That's cool." Matt says, awed. There's an awkward silence, and Matt figures this is the time to ask Alex. "Hey, Alex?"
She looks up and smiles. "Yeah?" She asks, her full attention on him.
Matt takes a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "I was wondering if..." He hesitates, and starts again. "Well, I was hoping... Maybe..." He chickens out at the last moment. "That I could draw your ferrets..." He looks down at the table, annoyed at himself.
Alex laughs. "Yeah, I can drop 'em off at your place tomorrow before I go to work." She eyes him. "You look like theres something else on your mind."
((Dammit Matt, pull yourself together.))

Matt looks up, still mentally kicking himself. "Nah. I'm fine." He pulls a smile. He glances at his watch, then feigns surprise. "Oh, gosh, look at the time... I'd better get going, to, um, tack some sketches up, or something." He stands up and hurries out of the cafe, forgetting to say good-bye. Once he's outside he curses himself. "What the heck, Matt?" He calls out, hurrying down the street. "What a wuss!" He slaps himself in the face, and swears he'll ask next time he sees her.
Matt looks up, still mentally kicking himself. "Nah. I'm fine." He pulls a smile. He glances at his watch, then feigns surprise. "Oh, gosh, look at the time... I'd better get going, to, um, tack some sketches up, or something." He stands up and hurries out of the cafe, forgetting to say good-bye. Once he's outside he curses himself. "What the heck, Matt?" He calls out, hurrying down the street. "What a wuss!" He slaps himself in the face, and swears he'll ask next time he sees her.
Alex rolls her eyes. "Guys." She laughs and cleans up the table. Walking out of the cafe, she texts V. *hows it goin?*
Aidan takes a seat, looking over the material again- he was starting to get things a little better now. He sighs to himself and takes a sip of coffee.
Ruby walks into the cafe. "This seems cozy enough." She says out loud. She looks around, looking for trouble. She spots Aidan and smiles widely.
Aidan looks over to see who's talking and recognizes the actress before quickly turning back to his work. What was she doing here in Hawksville?
Ruby notices him looking and slides into the other side of his booth. "Hey there." She says with a smile. "What'cha doin'?"
"Just homework." he says looking at her- she was really hot. Wait. Where had that thought come from? He tries to tear away his gaze.
Ruby cocks her head. "That's not very fun." She says, mock pouting. "Why are you being so... boring?"
Matt enters the cafe, looking for Alex. Shadow squeaks when he sees Aidan. Matt looks over to him, and sees Ruby. Matt's eyes widen, and he tries to grab Aidan's attention without Ruby noticing.
Aidan is too wrapped up in trying to look away from Ruby to notice Matt,"I guess I just am." He says not defending himself at all.
Ruby laughs. "We should go do something fun." She states. "What's your name?"
"Aidan." he replies. For some reason be really wanted to be around her.
Matt throws his hands up in the air. He turns around in a full circle, stomping his feet. Finally, he waves his hands in the air, one last attempt.
Ruby smiles brightly. "Well Aidan, you should totally take me out and show me around." She says, her eyes locked on his.
((Poor Matt lol))Aidan looks into her eyes. He bets she's a good kisser. What?! Why was he thinking th- Ooo she has nice eyes too.
"That would be awesome." he says smiling.
Ruby giggles and claps her hands. "Oh yay!" She exclaims happily. She writes her number on a slip of paper. "Here's my number, call me as soon as you're free."
Matt's mouth drops. His shoulders slump and he turns to go. *Wait...* He grabs a piece of paper and furiously writes down why Aidan should avoid Ruby. He folds it into an airplane, and tosses it in Aidan's face, rushing out the door so he isn't caught.
Aidan smiles taking the paper. He feels something hit his head and blinks looking at a paper airplane. He glances around but doesn't see who threw it.
Ruby frowns. "What's that?"she asks, suddenly very unhappy.
Aidan shrugs, he certainly didn't like it if it made her unhappy. He takes it in his fist and it's immediately set to fire. He brushes the paper ash off his hands, "Nothing now."
((LOL yeah I know...siiighhh you tried.))
Ruby smiles again. "Good." She loves it when people make her happy. "You have fire in your hands?" she asks. She wasn't all that smart when it came to powers.
"Yeah-that's my element. I can control fire." he says still staring at her. The longer he was around her the harder it was to think straight.
Ruby bats her eyelashes. "So dangerous. I like that." She says with a wink.
((oh gosh lol))Aidan only smiles, why was he so happy she liked him. Everything was blurry, "I'm free now." he comments.

"Okay." Aidan says with a wide grin that seemed uncharacteristic on him. He forgets about his homework and stands," where do you want to go?"
Ruby thinks. "Hm.... I don't really know where anything is here, I just got here."
Aidan thinks for a moment- it wasn't like he could show her the academy if she wasn't going there," Let's just go around town then."
((O.o Not the garden! Not the garden!!! XD Which is me saying take em to the garden.))
((Lol right- if she doesn't like outdoors he'd take her to a movie or something though poor guy has like no idea what's happening))
