I'll read this series eventually, but I'm going away on the 7th and get back on the 26th, so it probably won't be for a while.
the problem is i dont have a date to change it too haha. I am supposed to be reading or have read like 6 books right now :P as the days go on ill need to read more. Ill just like spend today just reading haha
@Tayla Then you can skip this one if need be! Just don't stress too much about it. We're all flexible here. :))
16% - Don't quite know how I feel. I like Sadie. She's funny and I think I have warmed to it quicker than I did with The Lightning Thief but, while I am enjoying it, I don't quite like it yet, if that makes sense. Anyone else started?? :))
39% - Sorry had a break. Didn't get as much as I wanted to get read but I have to say, loving this! Sadie is hilarious. I love her. Carter's a little dull but isn't too bad. Its really starting to pick up pace. Its nearly 100% better than Percy Jackson so far.
45% - Big twist! Never saw THAT coming! But just wanted to say that I doubt I'll get more read today. My little brothers' bday and we are going out all day. Talk later tonight perhaps! :))
@Once I won't be able to get it in for a while. I'll put it on hold at the library as soon as I have finished this though.@Tayla Hope you like it! I am finding it so much better than The Lightning Thief.
@Kindle25 I liked The Lightning Thief but I didn't find it as good as everyone else did. I just didn't think it was that funny and the action disappointed me - Percy always won in the nick of time. The Red Pyramid is very, very funny. Well, at lest in my opinion (Sadie! <3) and I am finding ALL of the action believable. Well, as believable as basketball-playing baboons and fruit bats get.
100% - Wow! So good. I loved it. Sadie is hilarious. I was constantly laughing out loud during the whole book. A solid four-star read.
It was good, but not great. I saw you say that it was much better than lightening thief and I disagree immensely.
@Tayla + @Once Really? I didn't really like the Lightning Thief at all. Percy is so childish and I just didn't like him or the books. I guess we al have different tastes then. :)
@Tayla Exactly! I may be only a few years older but he's a twelvie! How am I supposed to take him seriously if he acts like one??@Once By the ends he is 16 right?? That's what I heard. I have only read the first two books. :)
@Once Oh okay. I don't want to sound like I am hating on the book. I did enjoy it, I just wasn't a big fan of Percy and much prefer the Kane Chronicles. :)
