Interesting post on female serial killers. Looks like most of them did it for financial gain.
The central character in my book Enemy Combatant could be viewed as a serial killer, and her motives are definitely not financial. She had a rotten childhood and longed for a "family" where she would be loved and accepted. She enlisted in the Army in leu of killing herself, discovered she had certain rare skills, then overcommitted to becoming the "perfect weapon".So, what happens to a person like that when they get mustered out of the Army for traumatic brain injury?
