Children's Book about a Dingo [s]

The title should be obvious to me (it seems it was a simple title) but I can't find it. I read it in the 60's I believe... In it a girl finds a Dingo puppy during a flood and raises it. (Obviously set in Australia). People object as dingoes are enemies to livestock. I just loved that book, it was a children's paperback probably from the Arrow Book Club. Cover was blue with the dingo (in gold/yellow) on it. Thanks for any help.
