Christmas, and the most romantic night of the year, Christmas Eve, are just around the corner. While many couples are planning dates with an exquisite & expensive special dinner course, those of us in more established relationships tend to focus on the OTHER things to be done this month! Number one is CLEANING...not just at home, but also work places & schools. Also, it's time to prepare for the new year, and we start on New Year's Eve (Oo-Miso-Ka) with "toshi-koshi-soba", a noodle dish with the wish for a long life (like the long noodles)!

Duration: 12/1 - 12/31/13
Rules: Read 3 books - one in each of the following genres

1. PNR -or- UF
2. O-soji: Read a book that will help "clean up" one or more of your annual challenges!
3. New Year's Eve: Read a book set on a "cusp"(a transitional point or time), "traditional" eves, or world apocalypses...be creative.

Judithe | 6371 comments Hooray! A book "crossing" the new year would also work...also Christmas Eve, the night before Halloween (can think of ones where there's a special date by which the hero/ine has to accomplish something, which also qualifies as a "cusp" for this!)
