Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) | 41 comments I was looking up one of my favorite books and saw a new duplicate:

Is the real one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Is the duplicate, author name is weird: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Plethora (bookworm_r) | 359 comments Fixed, the auto-import had the name formatted last, first.

Combined with other editions

Ann Denton | 22 comments For some reason, out of no where, one of my books is showing up twice on my profile. Can the one without reviews be deleted?

message 4: by Alexandra (last edited Nov 28, 2013 10:13PM) (new)

Alexandra (alelin) | 35 comments That seems to be an automatic Amazon import of the Kindle edition.
I have combined them, as ebook and Kindle editions are not the same. It will now only show up once on your author page.

Edit: Or is the ebook edition maybe the Kindle edition and was just not labeled correctly? Then it would really be a duplicate and should be deleted.

Nucking Futs the Fire Fairy Book-a-holic (firefairyholic) | 348 comments You can actually do it yourself. On your My Books page, there is a Find Duplicate link below the Tools button.
Or you can click this link: https://www.goodreads.com/review/dupl...
and from there you can remove the dups on your shelves

That is completely different than the multiple editions being reported above.

I've recently gone to kindle only, so maybe that is what happened? It is only showing one now.

Ann Denton | 22 comments Alexandra, I'm not sure why but after my duplicate books were combined now the Amazon link doesn't work. It won't let me add an aisn # because it says there is already a book with that #. Any suggestions?

If you try to add the ASIN to the ebook edition (not the Kindle one) it will not work, because the Kindle edition is using this ASIN.
These are the two editions of your book now: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

You said you've recently gone to Kindle only, so does that mean that this book was previously published in another format or was this already a Kindle only release?
