In what ways has Junior's father disappointed him? In what ways was he supportive? - I think Junior's father saw himself in his son, and was at first disappointing in him for not achieving what he knew he could. He was supportive when he saw his son become a better man.

What about Junior's mother? How is that relationship similar and different from that with his father? - His mother was more caring and worried, like most mothers. She was probably disappointed in him at one point, but it was not overly obvious to me. All in all, they both cared about him in ways no one else could.

How does Junior deal with his family disappointments? - By either ignoring it or taking it completely to heart.
