With or Without Him

Buddy read 2nd December with Ingela and Andrea
Andrea wrote: "Forgot to say: I'm starting it!"Great, enjoy Andrea!!
I'll read another hour then it's bedtime. If I can stop reading in reasonable time... See you later. xx
Telma *.* wrote: "I'm way behind you guys but I hope I'll catch up. Right now, PLEASE TELL ME THAT THING OF SEXUAL SLAVE IS ABOIT TO END!!! At least with that discusting Prescot or something. I can't even remember h..."Telma! Read this if you want to know, but don't read my spoiler if you don't want to know: (view spoiler)
Right guys, I'm up to Chapter 8...couldn't stop reading it. I'm loving this so far. Goodnight Ladies, sweet Tyler & Haris filled dreams. x
It was so good and went as fast as right as it was, I realized that Chapter 10 began. I stopped there. Will now try to resist the urge to read further until tomorrow evening. (view spoiler)
I think we will be happy & satisfied with this one. In any case, when it comes to me. Good Night! Have a good reading evening, Andrea!
Ok, so I read through to the end of chapter 9.Anything below my starry line could be spoilers if you aren't there yet LOL

So, is it just me or does it feel like Jeremy should or will be a bigger part of the story?
Also, both of these guys are quick to assume the negative. This could be a result of several things and prob is: they're both guys and don't talk LOL, they each have insecurities, and they have just met. Trying to keep this in mind.
I hope we get to know them both better. Many things have been mentioned but not expanded.
The sex has been often and hotttttt LOL. I love watching a guy jerk himself off, so tis always mmmmmmm to read a good scene. The sex has been described deliciously, tho' there was 'scissoring' in prep, and someone's hole 'fluttered' *shudders* LOL
The dialogue has been fun, fo sho. I liked Tyler taking Haris shopping and skating. :)
I agree with what you write Andrea. I have also thought about if not this book also is very similar to a normal hetro contemporary novel. Just like Alexander McCall Smith's novels are IMO (which I like) and the much talked about Try novel (which I want to read). Maybe it has to do with these writers who write both M/M and M/F stories. ...and good ones.
This book contains most of the elements like one of these modern contemporary romances (like the popular books here on GR that all the girls screaming over and put out a ton of pictures to). A tall good looking, strong, but in the heart damaged, alpha hero. A young beautiful "heroine" who is seduced and "bought" to move in with him. There are some nasty enemies, very very hot in the bed and the alpha man is rich and powerful. !?!?
Either way, I feel it is really exciting and I want to know more. Love it so far!!
Though I really hope they start talking a bit more with each other. Right now there are so many unnecessary misunderstandings all the time
Yep, I'm really enjoying it too Ingela, and I agree with you...you could transpose one of the men for a woman and it would be a hetero story....although I like both of my men exactly where they are, hehe!!
Me too. It just gets more and more exciting. A real nail-bits book. I'm a little nervous all the time and wish that Tyler told Haris, then would he (and Jeremy as well) certainly be helped by Haris. Why have they so hard to communicate openly in romances? It is the same in all the TV serials ... a lot of unnecessary misunderstandings!!!!!!!!!
Sigh!
I'm off from work for a while and right now I have a hard time not cheating-read too much. Have read 10-14 and will now read something else before evening. Plus take care of the large laundry pile...I like this, feels like something new and so very intense compared to many other more calm and sensible gay romances.
I will now try to make a joy somersault on the living room carpet ... (It is soft and shaggy) :))))
Afternoon Ladies. Yes, I'm afraid Real Life is interfering with my reading today...laundry as well Ingela. I'm up to chapter 11 and absolutely love it so far but why are men so useless at communicating...I know it's true, I have it in my own home - son and dad are at it hammer and tongs most of the time, I could scream blue murder!! Love your smiley Ingela, I wish we could have them on kindles.Have to say up to now, this will be at least a 4.5 star read, and I'm really happy for Barbara, she wasn't sure whether we'd like it.
I think this may be another good book for a lot of the girls who usually only reads steamy hetro romances. Stays this story in this good shape, it will surely be a really good score from me too. It's good entertainment, even if it may not be deep (unpredictable) "good" literature. I will check up what Barbara Elsborg has written more and immediately put them on my reading list.
Andrea, I hope it takes off well for you too. Bev and I seem to surely be equally enthusiastic.
Ingela, Cowboys Down was my first m/m and I really liked it hehe, and of course Every Move he Makes earlier this year was great and I gave it 4.5 stars. Her m/m/f are good as well...Susie's Choice and Anna in the Middle in particular were hawt!!
Dang, Bev, you may have just added extry weight to my tbr list!! LOLAnd it's definitely been entertaining, and hawt, but I guess in this particular case the inability to communicate even a bit, especially since I as the reader know 'so much' more, is interfering a bit. But we're only about a third of the way thru, so I'm not worried.
I would almost say 'have fun with laundry!', but no, not really LOL
XX
Suck it up Andrea, hehe...someone's rec'd a book to me this morning and I've bought that and another one by the same author...what AM I like!! Right, back to the ruddy ironing!!
Bev wrote: "Ingela, Cowboys Down was my first m/m and I really liked it hehe, and of course Every Move he Makes earlier this year was great and I gave it 4.5 stars. I'm stuck in the old - two is enough in bed. LoL!!
I have to say the m/m/f are pretty good, but I can understand the 2 in a bed thing, hehe. Right, home-made quiche is resting, waiting for another 20 minutes or so then into the oven for tea...time for me to have a little read ladies. Catch you later. x
I'll do my best to get to Chapter 16. I think you're ahead of me anyway, I just love Wilson, he reminds me of Stephen Fry's Jeeves in the Jeeves & Wooster series, so funny.
I remember him. We who are not Englishmen always think it sounds so charming to have your very own butler in the house. In all the movies and TV shows, they are always so snobbish and real know best types. :)))
I stop after Chapter 16 and begin with one of my other 100 books that can be read in parallel with this one.
As usual, I was a bit inattentive and right where it was, I came to chapter 18. I'm a fan of this story right now. It's thrilling, sexy and it's starting to be kind of romantic too. Lovely guys - yummy, yummy!!! ...and a lot of (view spoiler)Going to read a Christmassy story about a guy who blames the mistletoe (Blame It On The Mistletoe) for a while.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I've read that one Ingela, not her best book as far as I'm concerned, but not bad. I'm up to Chapter 18...I couldn't stop reading either and I so wanted (view spoiler). Am going to read some of Bound to Break now, oh and Ladies, an Xmas story I can recommend is Rebound by Chris Scully, a real feel good book as are all of her stories so feel free to read Inseparable and When Adam Kissed Me too, they're wonderful. x
Cracking me up LOL. Getting back to it here in a bit!Was working on getting my new kindle set up. ;)
Finished. Had to read to the end...No, I'm not going to say anything until you've all finished. Waiting patiently.......
Bev wrote: "Finished. Had to read to the end...No, I'm not going to say anything until you've all finished. Waiting patiently......."Bev, what good to hear because I am so eager to continue. Then, I will now immediately throw me over the book again. I'm so excited to see how it goes for them and hope that all bad guys get it rough. Talk to you tonight.
Ooh, I'd hate to get on your wrong side Ingela, ha ha!! What do you think of Blame It on the Mistletoe??
I reallllly hope the communication improves. I know this it taking place over a short amount of time, and I'm trying to keep that in mind, but dang! LOLI reallllly hope the mish mash of stories, their life stories, is resolved somewhat. Both of them have shared some of the difficult stuff now.
Also, I reallllly am enjoying the major hotness LOL :)
Tyler is one talented dude!!! ;)
Bev wrote: "Ooh, I'd hate to get on your wrong side Ingela, ha ha!! What do you think of Blame It on the Mistletoe??"I enjoyed it ...maybe loved it!? A very, very sweet and funny story, but maybe to short. Will write a review later today. 4 stars and a cute boy-kissing-boy pic from me... :)))))

Have to agree Andrea, the sex is uber hot!! And you've got a few trials and ranting sessions to go yet. HEA...not saying, finish the story, hehe.
Oh and I gotta say, I loved Blame it on the Mistletoe, too!! Just too stinkin' cute, so much fun. :)I will try to finish this one tonight. Hopefully LOL
*crosses fingers*
70%; no, no,no...Tyler is so damn gullible and go all the time straight into the trap. I get a stomach ache of all my nervousness. It was a long time ago I read a book that is so much back and forth like this. When will they get everything in order and begin to trust each other?
Andrea wrote: "I reallllly hope the communication improves. I know this it taking place over a short amount of time, and I'm trying to keep that in mind, but dang! LOLI reallllly hope the mish mash of stories, ..."
Oh yes, they are so hot together when they don't fight over something all the time... Sigh!!
Haha, you're stressing over the same part that I did Ingela...and don't worry, there's more to come yet, woot!!
On 80% and will finish it now. I think this was the kind of novel I needed right now after a lot of the sweet & cute kind I often are reading. (It will maybe be as high as 4.5 - 5 stars from me. And I think I tend to be more efficient in giving many stars than many others are.)
This one would definitely cure a case of "sweet & cute" LOL.I'm still torn. It's almost like I'm reading two stories: the wayyyy hotness works as a relationship/sex story (clearly LOL) and then all of the other stuff works very well on its own.
But when they are thrown together... the segues are just not working for me and I have to change moods quickly so often while reading LOL.
Aaaaaaaaanway, I shall not judge until I am done and see vhat hoppens. :D
I just wrote this on my status, Andrea. Can I breathe easy now? Are there more enemies or misunderstanding or secrets or skeletons in the closet or something else that can ruin a happy HEA now?
There is a lot going on in this book. :))))
My lips are sealed, hehe!! But I'm really p*****d off...I've had a chat with Amazon about my kindle's keyboard, and it looks as though I'll have to do a factory reset which means of course that anything not saved in the Kindle cloud or on Calibre will be lost, so I've been going through all the publishers I buy from so I know who has what but there was a gap when I didn't have Calibre so.....annoyed and angry doesn't cover it, grrr!! Ingela, I will be rating it around 4.5 I think, and will be putting some suitable smileys in my review...I think my little man with his pants down being beaten will feature strongly, hehe.

Rubby has a whollllle other connotation! ;)"
OMG I'm sooo RED in my face now. Yeah so this wacky and fun..."
No red cheeks, Ing!!! :D
And I prefer rubby, too ;)
Hi, Telma :)
