For me, one thing that could make me 'not buy' a book is actually seeing YA/NA. Although, I've read a few good ones, in general it's not something that attracts me.

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 92 comments Yeah for some it might be a deal breaker while for other it might be the thing that makes them buy it.
In fact to see these words somewhere in the blurb might also help the author, because if someone is repelled by, let's take your example, the word Christian, they won't buy it, thus won't write a bad review because they won't feel they wasted their money.
All to say that the best way to do it is to be honest about what's in the book and not write a blurb hoping it might appeal to more people.
