Doctor Who is a show about science fiction and fandom itself for the fans within us all: The Tenth Doctor loves Harry Potter, the Eleventh Doctor wears costumes. As the franchise riffs off Star Trek, Star Wars, and Hitchhiker's Guide, while debating the nature of fiction itself, it both celebrates the world's most popular works and takes its place among them.

Per fans’ request, this book contains no images of weeping angels

Fiona McGier | 2 comments Got it yesterday. Loaded with all kinds of useless though interesting trivia, like when the Doctor's coat changes color based on whether he's headed into the past or the future.

So totally pumped for tomorrow's live show! We're planning on getting in line as early as possible, because the theatres have not assigned seats, so it's first come, first served. It's going to be in the 20s here in the Chicago area...so glad I don't have a Leela costume, or I'd freeze! And all of my kids are glad I don't have one also! Go Doctor Who!
