This author had a 4 versions of this book on Goodreads that I could find but they weren't combined. One was combined with the major Beowulf edition with primary author unknown. The other 3 were combined together but seperate from the primary work.

My question is ... is this "retelling" an adaption? Should I recombine or leave as a standalone version? The reviews here and on say it's a children's version.

Okay, if no one objects soon, I will add a librarian note so that it won't be recombined.

It does look like an adaptation.
