So I'll start things off: The Best Alternate History Stories of the 20th Century by Harry Turtledove
I picked this one up the other day and it looks really cool. :D
What about a Neil Gaiman anthology like Fragile Things: short fictions and wonders or Smoke and Mirrors. I THINK I may have nominated him for December already...if I did, I'll delete this and post something else...
It was brought up, but you mentioned THe Bloody Chamber first, so I used that one on the poll. Keep it for this one. Fragile Things is a fantastic collection. :D
I agree Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman is amazing, especially the story entitled, "October in the Chair." Fragile Things is my vote.
Good! Cause I'm reading Smoke & Mirrors now *hangs head in shame* So yeah! Lets do Fragile Things for the read! ;-)
Okie dokie... Nobody else has suggested anything, so if there are no objections, I'm good with just calling it and doing Fragile Things. :)

I can't wait for Fragile Things! I only have 2 stories left in Smoke & Mirrors. And although I know 'My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me' really bombed, I wasn't aware it was a read, or I'd have been all over that one! I LOVED that collection!!! Which brings me to my next point...a February nomination (and believe me, I KNOW this is waaayyy early to nominate for February, but I'm an excited reader, ya know? lol)!!! If anyone is planning on doing an alphabet challenge, xo Orpheus: Fifty New Myths would be like THE perfect book for an 'x,' right??? It would also be a splendid read for this group, seeing as how it IS an anthology of shorts. Just thought I'd throw that one out there; its sitting on my shelf, just waiting for 2014's alphabet challenge (the first year I've planned to do one...we'll see how it goes!).
