Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments In preparation for the Armchair Travelers Challenge, I'm running several DC threads where we can put together a list of books or series that are set in the different continents or European cities.

I, for one, will be checking these threads for suggestions.

The Bone People - Read it, awesome.
Once Were Warriors - There's a movie based on it too.

Kasia I'd have to give in and read a good m/m book one of these days. You make them all sound like so much fun Lori.

Barbara ★ | 3656 comments I read Outback by Aaron Fletcher years ago and really enjoyed it. It's about an English criminal who is transported to Australia who sets about changing his life and building an empire. It's long and involved and this is only book 1 of 5 detailing the family.

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments I've read The Thornbirds when I was a teenager, and that is one heartwrenching novel. Beautiful, but I cannot read it again.
