Lagatta Hi everyone!
I'll be finally going to Colombo this weekend and I'm planning to buy a few books to keep me company back in Polonnaruwa.

Do you have any suggestions?I would like to read books written by Sri Lankan authors.
I've already read books of Silva de Nihal and Ratnayake Madhubashini and of course Ondaatje.

I've read four authors: Ru Freeman, Romesh Gunesekera, Shyam Selvadurai, and Roma Tearne.

I'd also be curious about other authors.

Happy traveling and reading!

There is a group that has a list of Sri Lankan novels but I can't find it at the moment. I did come across the following group though, which may be of help.

Goodreads Sri Lanka!
