#267 It's a bit unclear what you want done. You linked to a review page (please don't) of one edition, but I see you have added two other editions which are identical to each other except one has no cover: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

I suppose they should be merged (=delete the one without a cover)? Please provide the ISBN of your edition. Maybe it has to be marked as an Alternative Cover Edition.

Non-librarians cannot add covers to existing editions. The easiest way is to ask in this group to add the cover, with a link to an acceptable source. Adding a new edition with the missing cover just means that both editions have to be separated, merged, and then recombined. A lot of unnecessary work.

In regards to other covers, I don't have a link because I scan muy own books. I read somewhere that if I saved the cover image to my profile pictures librarians could use them, is that true?

That is true. You can use this link to upload: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/new
But since you have a private profile, you must click on 'largest size' (above the image) and post that link with your request, otherwise others cannot see the scan.

When you add a translation of a book that is on GR, please use the "Add a new edition" link on the page of the original book. The translation will then be listed as an edition of the original book.

Also, do you have more details for both books? Like publisher, publication year, format, page count? Do they have an isbn?

#273 The more details, the better. The publisher can be listed in Persian, format is preferred to be in English (from the drop down menu). Publication year should not be in Persian calendar. The description can also be in Persian.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have.
Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition.

For request #2 and 5, I can't confirm that cover and isbn belong together.

I've combined the Croatian edition with the other books.
When you can't find the edition you own and want to add it to Goodreads, you can use the "add a new edition link" that is on the book page of the original edition.

There is a link: more details / less detail. Make sure you select more details. Below the covers of the other editions is the link to add a new edition. When you use that, you don't need to ask to have them combined.
Please note: when a translation is published in two volumes (and the original is 1 volume) they should not be combined.
