Mysti | 959 comments Yay! Okay. First off, let me tell you that I LOVE your name. And profile picture. And status...or what was your staus....because I saw randomly and I don't know when. Okay. Now that I put that out there and we already have the plot and everything, I'm guessing it's time to make our characters?

message 2: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments ... Okay..

message 3: by Mysti (last edited Nov 19, 2013 06:56AM) (new)

Mysti | 959 comments I'm sorry........

message 4: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments It's okay! So.. How d'ya want to start this? I'd be boy A!

message 5: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Um....I don't know. I'm guessing character time. Could you make yours first so I know what to go for?

message 6: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Sure!

[Name] Kyō Daetsuki

[Age] 17

[Appearance]
http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/i/201...

[Personality]
Kyo is brave, sweet, and a little rebellious. He came from a storybook about himself being the runaway from guards, as he was kind of like the water elementalist version of Robin Hood. He's helpful, but not so helpful when he hates someone.. Really.

[Stuff..]
- Kyō's real name is Kyōdasa Reiko Daetsuki
- He doesn't have any powers. That was just when he was in the book.
- He doesn't really exist.. This is just a coincidence.
- He does have hair like that.
- He's great with holograms.

message 7: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments I'll just be boy B! SORRY!!!!!

message 8: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Haha. It's alright! I was a little confused, but I figured you had meant B after you made him and all.

message 9: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments :D OKAY! So.. I'm waiting for your character, then.

message 10: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Yup! I'm making him! I promise!

message 11: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Okay! I'll wait!

message 12: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Name: Crow Longeres

Age: 16

Appearance: I'll add the picture when I get on the computer sometime tomorrow.

Personality: Crow is a little shy and tends to lean towards the companionship of his books instead of the company of other people. He is sweet and will help people when they ask for help, but usually people ignore him as an outcast of sorts. Only new people hang around him, and that doesn't usually last long.

Other: He is gay, although he doesn't really like admitting he. He's shy about it and thinks that it would gives kids at school fuel to pick on him. He would rather just be in the background, instead. He is totally a bookaholic and could read tons of books in a day. He has practically fallen in love with the main character of his favorite book, but finds it embarrasing, so he hides that as well.

message 13: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Okay! Would you like to start?

message 14: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Sure! I don't know how detailed you want to go, so I'll put a random amount and when you reply, you can tell me if you want more, less, or if it's good.

-

Crow had trapped himself in the library. Again. He had piles and piles of books surounding him, as per usual. He was leaning against a bookshelf, reading the hard cover copy of his absolute favorite book in the entire world. The cover was worn out with how many times he's read it and the edges of the pages were almost all bent to mark his spot. It was even starting to get that old book smell that he loved so much. He shifted against the bookcase when he felt a book dig into his spine and started chewing on his bottem lip softly.

message 15: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments (( Beautiful Post!!! ))

Kyō, was currently in the book world where he had to go over his adventures countless of times. He was getting tired of this, looking out of the pages to see his reader. He did notice that the most frequent reader was a boy, who seemed to be interested in the story. Several times Kyō wished he could call out to the boy, trying to reach out through the invisible wall that blocked him from the outside world. He was trapped. Trapped inside the thin pages of the book.

message 16: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments ((Yay! Oh...I'm not sure how to put the little line over to "o" in his name on my Nook, so I'll end up putting it as Kyo...))

As Crow read and got lost in the story, he couldn't but wish for the thousanth time that Kyo was real. That he was somewhere out there, living and breathing just like he was. Well...okay. Not just like he was. He couldn't see him staying in the background for very long. His legs started to cramp from keeping them crossed for so long, so he stretched them out and yawned. He glanced down at his phone to check the time and nodded. He had an hour before the library closed. That would give him enough time to finish the book and put away all the others sprawled all around him.

message 17: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments By some miracle, Kyō survived the scene in which he had to fight the enemy, again. He looked at the boy, in the small picture where he was smirking and he had a rather seductive look, which he didn't know what was for. He didn't know why the author had even placed it there. Kyō tried to give a silent message, saying, "I need to get out of here.." Hoping that whoever the reader was could pick up on his message and help him. But of course.. There was no way. Almost too sadly, Kyō knew he would have to live the rest of his life in between pages of the book. If the sequel ever came out, he would have a new adventure to repeat over and over again.

message 18: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Every page was always something new for Crow. He could probably read this book until the words were unreadable and still find new and different things that add interest to the book. He couldn't help but love it. Each time he read it, it was like Crow got a new and different message from it. A deeper, hidden meaning. Knowing him, he was probably just imagining it, but he didn't mind his over-active imagination. It made life something interesting. As he read it this time, the feeling he got off of it was different. More like a want....no. A need to be free. He didn't quite get this one, but he just chalked it down to him imagining it.

message 19: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Hopelessly, Kyō moved on to the next scene, near the end of the day. In the words there were, he sat on his made-up camp, lying down and closed his eyes as the sun set and the word was plunged into darkness. He began having peculiar dreams, each was even more puzzling than the one previously.

"C'mon, Kyoooo!! Wake up!" A faint and unfamiliar voice whispered, taunting him. His eyes opened and he saw a very unfamiliar boy standing in front of him, and he felt something digging into his back. The edge of a tree, perhaps? He didn't know. A jolt of pain as if he had been stabbed woke him up thoroughly, and he did see a sword point sticking out from the tree and it had pierced his side.

In the book itself, this was written down, but the next few pages were empty. The remaining most exciting pages were blank, as if the words had been shaken out and they had disappeared.

((Right here, when Kyō wakes up he's in the real life world. He acts like a normal guy, like he's been there for years. And he seems to forget about ever being in a story..))

message 20: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Upon stumbled across the empty pages, Crow's face fell completely. He did not remember this from previous readings. No way. Where did all the words go. The ending. Where's it all go? They all disappeared without a trace, without even the faintest markings on the page to prove that there was once words there. Flipping through the rest of the ending pages, there were no other words to be found. Absoluetely no traces that the words had even existed on the page. A feeling of disappointment washed over him as he finally gave up and slowly closed the book. He stood up, leaned back to pop his back and sighed in relief when it happened. He leaned down to pick up a few of the books and turned to put them in the exact spot they were in. He couldn't help but keep his mind focused on the other book and how the words mysteriously disappeared.

message 21: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments The world was blank, empty and dark. Kyō opened his eyes, seeing nothing and he felt a wave of confusion ripple over him. "Wh-Where am I?" he wanted to call out, but not a sound came out from him. Panicking slightly, Kyō managed to maintain himself and he kept trying to remember what had happened, and his only thoughts were of math homework's, algebra, english class, history. He could have sworn he had a weapon, namely his trusty sword but it was gone. He forgot everything he was originally, except his own appearance. Waking up for real, Kyō saw a bedroom, his bedroom, and he sat up. He knew he had long hair, certainly, but somehow, he wanted to see water. His dream was to manipulate it. But of course, it would just be a wish. Chuckling at himself, Kyō saw it was almost midnight and he shrugged, going to the window.

"Kyō! You're going to be late to your flight. Go now!" His mother called out. He remembered he was transferred to another school and he sighed, getting dressed.

*skipping flight and stuff*

It was still afternoon in the school where he was supposed to go to. Yawning, Kyō found himself almost instantaneously surrounded by girls, which he felt uncomfortable with. Escaping towards a library, he simply stopped by the office and got things fixed up, and by some miracle escaped crowds, as he walked into the library. Quietly making his way deep in, he saw that perhaps only fifteen minutes more for library time was left. Deep in thought, he didn't know where he was going and he accidentally bumped into a boy.

((Who is Crow!))

message 22: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments There were only a couple more books left for Crow to put away. The couple of books in his arms scattered from his arms when he was suddenly bumped into. He bit his lip softly and shook his head, disappointed in himself that he would let that happen. Sure....he was bumped into and all, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have kept the books close. Not bothering to look at who bumped into him and made the books fly, Crow dropped to his knees, slowly picking up the fallen books. Softly chewing on his lip, he focused on picking up the books, instead of looking at the person, like he got the sudden urge to do. The urge was eating him away and he knew that eventually he would look up to see who it was, but he had to pick these up first. He had to focus on the books, not the person.

message 23: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments "Sorry." Kyō said, helping Crow with the books. Like the book's description, he had this mark on his hand, which would signal to the readers who he was. Added with the fact his hair was practically hanging down. A moment of recognition struck him, and Kyō realised he knew Crow.. Somehow. In a way he didn't know. Had he been in a book he would remember that certainly Crow was the reader who had read the story more than a dozen times.

message 24: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments "No. It's fine..." Crow muttered softly. Taking the books from him, he sighed softly and shook his had. Noticing the mark, Crow instantly dropped the books again as he stared at it. There was no way. No way this could possibly be Kyo. He was a fictional character! Maybe this person read the book enough times that he wanted to mark just like Kyo?

message 25: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments "Hey, are you alright?" Kyō asked, getting up after placing the books back on Crow's arms. He tilted his head as he waited or the reply, sure he had seen this boy before. Kyō decided to shrug it off but he curiously waited for the reply, frowning. Any fan of the book, would also recognize his voice, the way he acted and certainly, if Crow had looked up, his appearance.

message 26: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments "Uh....." Crow glanced up at Kyo and was stunned speechless. There was no denying it. This was the real Kyo. Shouldn't that be impossible? Crow thought to himself, in complete shock. Slowly standing up, he kept his eyes trained on his face. Everything was exactly how he was described in the book. Down to the smallest detail! Either this boy was a bigger fan of the book then he was or he had fallen asleep. But this was way too real to be a dream. For a little bit, Crow just stared at him in confusion.

message 27: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments "Yes?" Kyō asked, his hand suddenly going to his side as an impulse. He was almost reaching for an unseen sword when he stopped himself, unsure what he was doing. He saw the book and picked it up, looking through the pages till he came to the empty pages, raising an eyebrow and he stayed at it almost dropping the book when the words suddenly appeared. "Do books here do that?" He asked Crow. "I forgot. My name is Kyōdasa Reiko Daetsuki. Call me Kyō."

message 28: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments "Oh...um....nothing...." Crow quickly replied. He started chewing on his lip as he saw him reaching as if for a sword. Something Kyo would totally do! He had to be dreaming. That was the only reasonable explanation for this. A look of confusion washed over his face when he spoke up again. "Books do what here?" Crow asked, raising an eyebrow. His eyes widened slightly when he heard his name. There was no way. "Uh...I'm Crow Longeres...."

message 29: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Kyō nodded in acknowledgment of Crow's name. "I'm a new student here, and could you perhaps help me escape from the crowds? They're chasing after me." Kyō said with a small smile, a little freaked out by the thought of facing that crowd of both boys and girls. He disliked socialising and he didn't want to socialise with too much people. Socialising with Crow was alright, for Kyō.

message 30: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow nodded and chewing on his lip again. "Yeah. Stick with me and most people will aviod you like that plague." He told him softly with a small sigh. "Let me put these away, first." Crow held up the books, before turning and putting them away again. He hoped nothing else would happen that would make the books go flying everywhere. Knowing where every single book went, Crow finished quickly and turned to face Kyo. "Ready?" He asked, grabbing his backpack.

message 31: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Kyō waited patiently, then when Crow talked to him, he nodded. "Alright. Yes, I'm ready." Kyō said hoping what Crow said was true an people would leave him alone afterwards.

(( sorry for the short post!! I'm on my phone!))

message 32: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow nodded and ran his fingers through his hair. He made his way towards the door. Crowds almost attacked hi once the doors opened, but once they saw who it was, they all instantly scattered. Sighing softly, Crow walking past them all, expecting Kyo to be following, but not looking back to check.

message 33: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Kyō followed Crow, almost getting separated twice but he did manage to slip away and he breathed out a sigh of relief, glad to be away from that mob. Sadly, though, he did see the mob trailing behind them waiting for a moment to get Kyō away so he stuck close to Crow. When they were away at last, he smiled and said, "Thank you, Crow."

message 34: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow glanced at Kyo and felt his heart melt at his smile. It was so much better in person than in the book. He nodded and shrugged it off as if it was no big deal, though. "Yeah. Of course." Crow replied as he glanced over his shoulder. He could see a couple of people trailing behind them at a 'safe' distance, but at least it wasn't the mob.

message 35: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments "Crow, you seem familiar.. Have I met you somewhere?" Kyō asked suddenly, sure he had seen Crow before. Certainly he had. Before Kyō came to life, when he was still a story character, he had seen Crow plenty of times as the boy read the book. If he had remembered, he would most possibly be hugging Crow right now, if Kyō was the hugging type.

message 36: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow looked at him and sighed. "Maybe I remind you of someone you used to know. I've been here my entire life and you just moved here." And that was true. But they had met so many times in his head, it was hard to keep track if them all. Impossible to. Crow looked at the ground as he walked, still trying to figure out what was going on. There was no way this could be a dream. But how could Kyo be real?

message 37: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments For some reason Kyō had this impulse every few moments and he absent mindedly reached to his side as if finding a sword but he always stopped, thinking, What am I doing? Before his hand went back by his side. Again another feeling that he could control water came into his mind and he stared at a bottle of water, sure that if he looked at it long enough it would burst. But nothing happened.

message 38: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow stopped walking when he noticed what Kyo was doing. Was he trying to reach for a sword? Was he trying to make the water burst from the bottle? He waited for a moment, and felt slightly disappointed when nothing happened. He shrugged it off and made it look like he had no idea what he was doing. "What are you doing?" He asked softly, tilting his head slightly and raising an eyebrow.

message 39: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments "I guess I don't really know. It's like something's controlling me to find a sword by my side.. Or I used to be able to have the ability to control water." Kyō confessed softly, so his mouth was by Crow's ear so others couldn't eavesdrop on what he was saying.

message 40: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow eyes widened slightly in surprise. Okay. Of all things, he wasn't actually expecting him to say that. His heart rate picked up slightly from having Kyo so close to him, but he pushed that from his mind. Crow started wondering if he should have him read the book. Maybe he had read it before and subconciously wanted to be Kyo in the book, so he was trying to be Kyo in real life. Crow honestly had no idea.

message 41: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments As if Kyō could read Crow's mind, which he most certainly could not, he said, "I'm not pretending to be someone I'm not." He referred to Crow looking at him like he was pretending to be a character, perhaps? For some reason he thought that it was partly true.. well the power part could be true but he didn't know about the other parts though.

message 42: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow crossed his arms over his chest and sighed softly. He tried not to show how much it actually surprised him that he said that. It was almost as if he read his mind or something. Crow shook his head slightly, before meeting his eyes. "Sorry. It's just you remind me of someone. From a book...." Crow trailed off, shaking his head again.

message 43: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments "What book would it be?" Kyō asked curiously, wanting to take a look. Perhaps it would answer some of his confusion and his unnatural habits? He really wanted to find out the truth before he went insane with too much curiosity and all the confusion he seemed to be collecting.

message 44: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments "Umm...here. I think I have it with me...." Crow mumbled as he shifted his backpack off of his shoulders. He unzipped it and searched for the book. His favorite book. Crow found it quickly and handed it over to Kyo. "This is it." He murmured as he zipped his backpack back up. He put it back on his shoulders and carefully watched Kyo.

message 45: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Kyō took the book, opening the first page. Reading the description, he almost dropped the book, shocked. "Wh-What's going on?" He muttered to himself, blinking with wide eyes. Shakily continuing on, he read the habits of sword and water manipulation, and once more he almost dropped the book. Just when he thought he had controlled himself, he came to the part where it said:

"And his name, was Kyōdasa Reiko Daetsuki"

The first thing Kyō did was to gasp, closing the book and he almost passed out, which luckily he didn't do.

message 46: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow took a nervous step back. Okay. Maybe he shouldn't have shown the book to him. Maybe he should have kept that little part a secret. He wracked his fingers through his hair and looked at the ground. Crow looked at it like it had suddenly become extremely interesting or something. Not just the regular floor. Yeah....he really probably shouldn't have showed him the book when Crow heard him close the book.

message 47: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Wordlessly, Kyō handed the book to Crow and to steady himself, he had to lean on the wall. His mind was in a whirl, as he didn't believe what he had just read. A feeling, rather familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time came upon him, and he realised that... He wanted to be free, trying to get out of that invisible wall that placed him between.. between what? He didn't know.

message 48: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Crow silently took the book back into his hands. He didn't put it back in his backpack just yet. Glancing up was probably a big mistake on his part, but he did anyway. The expression on his face. The pure shock of it. He instantly felt guilty for giving him the book to look at, to read. Nodding slowly, he tightened his grip on the book slightly. He glanced at a nearby clock and acting like he had to be somewhere, when really he didn't. "I......I should go......" Crow murmured softly as he starting walking towards the door.

message 49: by Holt (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 4724 comments Suddenly Kyō grasped Crow's hand, his hair shading his eyes. "Crow, can you stay here for a moment more?" He asked, avoiding the other boy's eyes. "Please?" He added, something Kyō only did when he was truly desperate, said the book and his real life self. He didn't exactly know why but he needed to have someone to help him, and that someone was Crow.

message 50: by Mysti (new)

Mysti | 959 comments Shock overwhelmed Crow when he heard Kyo's words. He stopped walking and nodded silently. It was shocking that Kyo did that, but he didn't mind that much. He could feel his heart start melting at his touch. This guy was way too good to be true. He had to be dreaming. There is no way a character from a book actually came to life!
