Lisa Armour This book is nothing like what you would imagine it to be. Marianne Jordan has done the unexpected by combining the Christmas Story with Charles Dickens' Scrooge to create a new story. She did an amazing job, so much so, that it will touch you and make you think about things in ways that you never did before. She shows what it means to love, care about others and the importance of family in a way that hasn't been done before. It is a page turner that, once you start, you will not be able to stop until you finish the book. Well worth the investment to read the book.

Kathy Miller I so enjoyed this book. Marianne is a wonderful writer, making the characters come alive within a familiar story, in fact, two familiar stories. She wove them together beautifully to make me relate to the characters and look at some "well-worn" themes in a fresh light. I was eager to get back to reading it after interruptions. I recommend this!
