What's your favourite genre in manga/anime?

I don't particularly have a favorite genre when it comes to anime. As long as the story is good then I can watch any genre. My top ten anime list have these genres:

fantasy/horror/action/shoujo/romance/comedy/historical/reverse harem/etc.

Since I watch stuff from almost every genre it's hard to find a specific genre I like above the others. They're all interesting in their own way as long as they make the stories right. The only thing I don't watch is mecha and sci-fi since there isn't much I enjoy in those genres.


When it comes to manga my favorites are shounen-ai and historical (with some fantasy/magical elements). That's pretty much all I'm reading now a days with some exceptions. Romance is also something I read a lot off, but it's not as enjoyable anymore (pretty much the same story done over and over again.)

I love Shoujo anime/manga too!!! I love it when the guy acts all cold, but then secretly likes the girl, and gets jealous easily.

I like suspense and thrillers... Domes horror and I like action as well.... I don't like those shoujo that much expect a few good ones 

Shoujo, I like it in any way shape or form, but I most definitely hate those third wheels who try to ruin everything. On the other hand I like straight murder and violence too^^ currently watching mirai nikki.

It's obvious we share a love for any anime with sword action. That's another reason I love Bleach so much, their zanpaktos(sp) are main characters in their own right.

I don't really have a favorite. I watch and read just about everything: action/adventure/ecchi/harem/horror/mystery/romance/shounen/shoujo/seinen/josei/thriller/slice-of-life/yuri... I think the only anime/manga genre I won't touch is yaoi.

Shounen, shounen-ai, seinen, yaoi, fantasy, adventure, action, comedy and horror (almost everything). Sometimes, depends on the context, shoujo. Have absolutely nothing against shoujo-ai and yuri.
Don´t really like ecchi (male x female), to be honest ^^ all else can pass

I am a little apprehensive when it comes to ecchi, and I don't really like yaoi very much.

I love magical girl manga and series the most. There is an element of fantasy and imagination I find really enjoyable. Plus they served as my true introduction to anime manga. Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura were the first animes I watched from start to finish.
