A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1674 comments OK quick question. I have just seen a facebook group asking for book donations for serving soldiers. That one was based in the US but I wondered if anyone knows of one in the UK. It seems like a nice thing to do - either authors can donate or if anyone has any second hand but good quality books then they can be given as well.

I have no clue where to start looking.

The other option would be to donate to the poor families displaced in the Phillippines. I know they need food and water but what about books, especially books for kids or school books? Does anyone know of any charities which would do this?
