Chalcedony Hey there, so I'm not reallly good in English & that's why I wanna ask you if you could explain for me the Quote ot Tobias :
“I suppose a fire that burns that bright is not meant to last.”

I've tried very hard to understand it but like I said, my english isn't that good. ( german..)

Kristen Think of it like a firework. It's pretty amazing, but doesn't last long.
He's saying that she was extraordinary.

Chalcedony Ok, I get it :) thank you!
Actually the quote makes me so sad again because of the end of allegiant.

Kristen Welcome!

Yeah, it is pretty depressing...

Italia8989 Tobias means Tris was vibrant and stood out among everyone, and how she was a good person willing to make sacrifices. The reason she died was because of these things, and this is why he said "not meant to last." Hope I helped!

Wayan like something so good and so bright and unique could not last forever
yh i'm terrible at explaining sorwy...

agree

Haley Baker Someone who lives with that much passion isn't going to live long. Like a candle that is constantly burning as bright as it can is going to die before the other candles. (Sorry about the strange analogy.)
