Corey (sidizenkain) Doesn't really have to be Christian music, I like listening to Marilyn Manson after all. :P

However my favorite Christian artist would have to be Phil Wickham! Song you should listen to by him are:
"Must I Wait"
"The Light Will Come"
"I Will Wait for You There"
"True Love"
"Crumble to Pieces"

How about ya'll?

message 2: by Zachary (new)

Zachary (zacharykeith) Demon Hunter is by far my favorite band.

You should listen to
"Undying"
"Not I"
"Lead Us Home"
"The Tide Began to Rise"
and
"My Heartstrings Come Undone"

message 3: by Mikaylah (new)

Mikaylah I have a mixed taste in music:P
I love Nearly all of BarlowGirl's songs and have memorized most of them.Here are some more bands I like;
Fireflight
Falling up
FamilyForce5
Kutless(I saw these guys in concert!!)
Krystal Meyers
Toby Mac
Skillet
Stellar Kart(I saw them at the same concert!)
SuperChick
Plumb
Everlife
and of course Celtic songs!

message 4: by Mikaylah (new)

Mikaylah Not coincidence,good taste;)
Great minds think alike i guess.
(no offense to Corey and Zack :)

message 5: by Austin (new)

Austin (ABedolla) I like...
Casting Crowns
Kutless
Jars of Clay (I don't listen to them very often)
Pillar (By far my favorite)

I wish these people came to Utah. But i have only ever heard that Superchick came to Salt Lake City once.

message 6: by Austin (new)

Austin (ABedolla) Yeah they rock....

message 7: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 01, 2009 09:54AM) (new)

I used to like this one band called Eisbrecher. They did sing Christian music but one thing, they were actually German singers so I had no idea what they were saying at all. My Mom showed me their music but now I just can't take their music anymore! I think the only reason why I listened to it is because I kind of liked the instrumental talents they had.

message 8: by Zachary (new)

Zachary (zacharykeith) Mikaylah!
1. How could you spell my name wrong?!
and
2. Great music is a matter of perspective and opinion :P

My worship comes with headbanging :)

message 9: by Mikaylah (new)

Mikaylah 1.Oops! Sorry I didn't realize I put a k instead of an h!

2.Nothing wrong with headbanging I just like to hear the lyrics in a song :P

3.Yep,I know good music is a matter of perspective and opinion. How else did Raffi rise in popularity!

message 10: by Austin (new)

Austin (ABedolla) pillar is the all time best. if anyone has the cd called "For the love of the game" listen to the bass solo at the beginning of the second song. I think its called turn it up but i am not positive

80's music rocks. (Some of it) But I agree, anything but Country.

message 13: by Corey (last edited Jul 19, 2009 11:50AM) (new)

Corey (sidizenkain) Been listening to some 80's and alot of Alternative Rock lately. lol

I'd almost agree with the no Country thing but there's a few bands I really like. lol, like: Toby Keith, Alison Krauss & Union Station, and Nickel Creek. Yay for Blue Grass! :P

I dislike Rap and Techno though aside from some Basshunter. Oh, and Polka does not impress me either. xD

Now to look up those Demon Hunter songs. :P

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Rap Music always sounds so evil and dark. I don't really like it at all. Although I believe that Toby Mac has some good Rap Music.

There's a few German bands I listen to like Oomph!, Die Toten Hosen and Dornenreich. Haven't heard of Eisbrecher, but I think i'll look into them. I never really pay attention to any of the lyrics so i'm pretty much all about the talent of the music or if the songs catchy to me. Which ends up having me listening to a wide variety of music. lol

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I've been listening to this band called U2. Their music is pretty cool. Some of my friends have been talking about this one band called ''White Stripes''. I've heard one of their songs so far.

Corey (sidizenkain) Indiana wrote: "Rap Music always sounds so evil and dark. I don't really like it at all. Although I believe that Toby Mac has some good Rap Music."

Yeah, too thuggy and gangsta for me. Some of it's like verbal porno and they're always talking about their b*tches and ho's and popping caps in people. Just bugs me most of the time. There's a few I can tolerate though, but I can't remember what they're called at the moment. xD

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, it's bad.

Oh yeah, those are pretty good bands. Haven't gotten too into U2 yet, but from what songs I have of theirs I like. And then The White Stripes is cool. lol. So far I like their songs, "Seven Nation Army", "Blue Orchid", "The Nurse", "Walking With A Ghost", "Icky Thump", "We Are Going To Be Friends", and "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground". Jack White, the lead singer of that band had a band before The White Stripes called The Raconteurs. The songs "Steady As She Goes" and "Blue Veins" are cool. Just a music FYI if you ever listen to White Stripes more. xD

Listen to good Rap then!(I like the name "Hip-Hop" it's got more of a zing to it xD)
Check out some of my fav. Christian artists!
