Jane (luvstoknit) | 15 comments Hi Bear! I love to read knitting novels, even if they are kind of silly. They are light reading when you don't want to strain your brain. As a librarian, I know of quite a few and of course, when I find out about a new one I have to order it for our library! Here are some titles:
Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs
Knitting: A Novel by Anne Bartlett
The Knitting Circle by Ann Hood
Died in the Wool by Mary Kruger
Needled to Death by Maggie Sefton (she has others, too)
Knitting Under the Influence (author escapes me at the moment)
Chicks with Sticks series
Also Monica Ferris has several knitting/needlework titles
I wish you many happy months of "knitterly" reading!

OssifrageRage Awesome, thank you!
I love silly mysteries, so those are good.
I read all of the "Cat Who", and all of Diane Mott Davidson's catering mysteries, time to go to another theme!

Margarita | 2 comments Hi! I'm Margarita and Christy just invited me to this group - I'm glad you found me. Have any of you read any of the Miss Silver mysteries by Patricia Wentworth? Miss Silver is a big time knitter and solves mysteries while she is knitting.
