Sandeep Hi I'm in the process of launching my own book review blog and I wanted to hear some feedback on my idea.
What do you expect/want from a book review site (rank from most important to least important)

A) Standard book review post
B) Podcast discussing book's themes/lessons
C) PDF notes where you can download to read at any time
D) Weekly videos where a author is interviewed about her work and her craft

Thank you for your time reading this and I appreciate the feedback greatly.

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) I think it's important to try and vary the things you do. There's nothing wrong with what you have listed, but if you try to make something like a video interview a weekly occurrence you may find yourself quickly running out of material!

One book blog I follow, she often makes slightly madcap posts - http://booksnobbery.wordpress.com/

Obviously not everyone can do something like that, but it offers some variety.

Someone else I know was reviewing books, but reviewing ONLY the first 7500 words of the book and making a judgement on it. She setup a blog specifically for this, and only ever reviewed books that the authors submitted to her for that purpose.
