90% such a beautiful love story... I am so rooting or them...

Finished and already got the sequel... I didn't like how it ended but at the same time I loved it because now I have to know what happens next... This story started off a little slow but gradually picked up and hooked me. Karou and Akiva do not start off as a regular love sick puppies when they first meet but later on in the story we find out why... We also find out why they are not supposed to be together and we also meet important people in their lives... mostly Karou's life which shapes Akiva as well... I recommend it 100% won't be disappointed...

Chapter 1
Wow! This is some exquisite writing! I've been immediately pulled into the mood and the setting of this story. I am there, walking the streets of Prague, feeling the Mondayness and the Januaryness...

I love Prague -- and right now I can feel the Mondayness and the Februaryness just 4 hours west of Prague.

I can relate to Karou and Kaz -- I'm charmed in very different ways by both their personalities. I can feel their relationship dynamics. Can't wait to dive head first into this book.

Very nice. I like Karou -- her character is very interesting. Smart and strong-willed... She was naively susceptible to Kaz's charms (the first time around), but is smart enough to learn from her mistakes.

She seems to be just an art student in Prag and we get a bit of her back story in that regards, but she's also someone (or something) so much more... There's just little hints, little thoughts about her "other" life -- something that involves being able to fight and protect herself, something that involves mythical creatures, suspicious tattoos, and unusual hair color...

I'm eager to learn more...

I had the same feelings when I started it, too!! I was liking it so much that I was afraid there would come a point where something didn't go as I expected and it would disappoint me, but it wasn't the case. I can tell you that I enjoyed every bit of it!! It just gets better :)
