Preparation of the topics and outline of the read takes some time before we can open it up for participation, Since the moderators are volunteers, it sometimes takes a little longer to do that while keeping current with our other responsibilities to the HBC.

Staying On and how the author came to write this Booker Prize winner and what, if any, British influence remains in the India of today. His article "Remnants of the Raj" is a fascinating look at a small town in modern India searching for those remnants. Additionally, he gives us an inside look at the author Paul Scott.
