Travel reporter. Steve McClarence, for the Guardian newspaper in the UK, decided to trace the steps of our current read. Staying On and how the author came to write this Booker Prize winner and what, if any, British influence remains in the India of today. His article "Remnants of the Raj" is a fascinating look at a small town in modern India searching for those remnants. Additionally, he gives us an inside look at the author Paul Scott.
