Tana Harrison I have tried to read 100 books each year. In 2006 I only made it to 86 and in 2007 I made it to 107. So this year I like the idea of getting to 50.

So far this year I have read...
1. The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
2. Saints and Soldiers by Jeffrey Scott
3. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
4. Shopaholic and Baby by Sophia Kinsella
5. The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
6. Silas Marner by George Eliot
7. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
8. The Wednesday Letters by Jason Wright
9. Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde

Just started Jane Eyre

Tana Harrison I just shopped for somemore books. I'm going to need another year. It's going to take me 12 years to get throught the books I have and another 5 years to read all the ones you all recommend. Yikes!

Dawn Michelle I LOVED The Kite Runner and Silas Marner. I read Silas when I was in High School and fell in love with the book. Of course, I was the girl that read Great Expectations while on summer vacation! :)
What did you think of "The Glass Castle"? I found it to be so sad, yet amazing.
"The Eyre Affair" is on my list..I had to get through "Jane Eyre" first and I finally did so now I can read the other one. I am looking forward to it as I have heard lots of great things about it.
I am always shopping for books. I just found some that I had forgotten I had and need to read (which will now come in handy) and just bought books when I went to the bookstore 2 days in a row! :)
Happy reading!

Tana Harrison I really liked the Glass Castle. I wanted to find out more about the author but I changed my mind because I didn't want to ruin the story for me.

I adore Jasper Fforde's stories. He is very imaginative. I haven't finished Jane Eyre yet but the stories are making much more sense now!
