For September 2013, we are reading Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble.



Summary: Lucy Marsh's worldly resources are running out, but she's fiercely determined to care for her younger brother and sister. I started it, but didn't like it, so I stopped reading it & deleted it from my Kindle account.

I didn't read very far, but what I did read, I found too "preachy."

I had already read this one so. I liked it. I liked the characters and I cared about what happened to them. Because of that I read the next one in the series, Safe In His Arms. I liked that one as well. I thought the Lori Wick book from last month was much more " preachy" than this set. I find that with Coble I like most of her books but there are some I could take or leave. Most of her books, including these two get a solid 3 stars. I like them, but I don't rave about them.

I have not read Safe in His Arms yet, but the book is sitting on my dresser! I hope to get to it sometime this month!
