Just noticed Storm Front is going for $2.95 today on Audible if anyone is looking to get into Jim Butcher's Dresden series

They have a daily e-mail that anybody can get on to grab their daily deals. Doesn't seem to be a specific site to go to though.

Found it on the "Account Details" page... under preferences - "Manage Daily Email Subscription"...But... "Really fine print: We're sorry, but at this time, this email is only for US and Canada customers."
I would still try to subscribe if you aren't in US or Canada. I'm in Australia and they still send me the email. And it should still pop up on the home page. Every now and then it disappears but it's there most the time in the top left hand corner
Nothing of the sort on the UK site, at least, not anywhere I can find, and I've checked all the suggested places. Such is the usual way of it for us none US folk, though. At least Australia seems to be getting it. :)
That's weird. We normally get stuff similar to the UK site. You can try the link to today's daily deal and see if you get it for the cheaper priceToday it's Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World for $4.95

Ha, too late for yesterday in any case, but since the link says audible.com, it won't help with the UK site, right? *confused*But it's cool. I have a credit a month subscription and little listening time, so special offers aren't much of an incentive to me; I'm more tempted by expensive books so I can get my money's worth. :)

I think we must use the American site - but access to certain content is different depending on the IP

I use the American site though I live in Denmark. I have to use amazon.com as well for Kindle books, though I had to buy the Kindle from the UK site + it recommends me to buy items from there when I go to the .com site. In short: I haven't encountered that problem :)
Okay, interesting. In that case, perhaps it is just users from the uk that need a credit card registered to a US address? How strange! Oh I totally got that wrong sorry sorry. Audible app shows the new King book and then the daily deal banner is just below and I combined them in my head.
It was a 50 shades of Grey rip off today. Not a deal at any price in my opinion but I also have crappy taste.

My family just listened to this on a road trip this summer. It was as good then as it was when I read it at 10 years old (30 now).

Watching LoTR has set all the characters' voices in my head and they were too different to the Audible version. I swapped it out for the kindle version instead.
