Jim Liston (jimsgotweb) | 1 comments I've read about people trying to get Amazon to price match their eBooks to make them free. I have a different problem. My book was free on SmashWords so Amazon matched it right away. I've changed the price on Smash to $0.99 and wonder what I'll need to do to get Amazon to change their price.
Has anyone had anyone luck doing this? Any tips to share?
Thanks,
Jim

Steph Bennion (stephbennion) | 814 comments I've run special offers before by reducing prices on Smashwords (so B&N, iBooks, Kobo, etc. follow suit), where Amazon then matches it. When I return to original prices, it usually takes Amazon a while to follow suit - around a couple of weeks last time, as I recall. If you don't want to wait, you could always try emailing KDP support.

Emma Faragher | 146 comments I imagine they will want to put it back up to being paid because otherwise they won't get any money from it either. But I've never done it so I don't know.
