Maddy

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow was in the kitchen, making pancakes. He used almond milk, for Tawny, and the rest was from a mix, and eggs. He was pretty sure most of the flock was asleep, since it was pretty early. At least, he thought it was. He enjoyed the quiet, so it was a good thing. He flipped another pancake, before stacking it on the plate full of the ones he already made.

message 3: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee was up on the roof listening to the different sounds around him, observing the colors that came from them. The different chirping of the birds were blue, green, and orange, and they were so beautiful to him. He suddenly snapped out of his own little world and jumped down from on top of the house, opening the front door and going into the kitchen when he smelled food. He looked at Crow, "Hi Crow."

message 4: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Tawny was asleep, as she usually was on a fine day such as this. The tall redhead didn't much care for her waking hours, constantly remembering the horrors of the school. Even though dreams were no better, Tawny much preferred them. Perhaps it was just the fact that she dreamed in Swedish, and not English. English confused her to no end, so her dreams were a blessing, no matter how horrid. Though Tawny's sleep had been a dreamless one, she still awoke with a start, as she usually did. The sound of chirping birds calmed her racing heart, and she closed her eyes again, simply listening.

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments "Good morning, Lee. Pancake?" Crow asked. Lee was an alright guy, overall, he supposed. He was a bit strange sometimes, calling his voice purple, blue, or black all of the time, like it was something bad. Crow guessed it was his depression or something like that. But, a lot of the flock was like that, so why was it just his voice?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn woke up and she looked around her room, not remembering where she was for a minute. She rubbed her eyes and got up. Her blonde hair fell in her face and she made her bed. Yawning, she changed into skinny jeans and a blue sweatshirt. Madilyn sighed and she silently walked into the kitchen.

message 7: by Delirious (new)

Delirious Pool (deliriousrobin) | 5421 comments Nora sat in a her room, her legs crossed and her notebook on her lap. She was drawing, she hated to sleep, so she was tired a lot, she was afraid to burn the house down or having the nightmare of her dad dying in front of her. She ripped the piece of paper out and threw it in the trash. She sighed, she lifted herself off her bed and walked out of her room. She needed fresh air and walked out seeing Lee and Crow.

message 8: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow almost frowned, missing his silence, but he kept his lips neutral and finished the last of the pancake batter. Breakfast was ready for everyone now, hopefully.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn looked up at Crow, "C-can I have a pancake?" She asked quietly. She didn't like to talk to people, but sometimes she just had to.

message 10: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments "Of course," Crow said, smiling. "I made them for everyone," he added. He knew Madilyn was shy, so he tried to be pleasant around her. He tried too be pleasant around everyone, really.

message 11: by Delirious (new)

Delirious Pool (deliriousrobin) | 5421 comments Nora looked at Madilyn and the others, before walking outside, she flew up to the roof top. She sat looking at the sky, her knees pulled to her chest. She sighed, why couldn't she keep her powers under control. She didn't want to hurt anybody or even kill someone. "Ugh, I hate myself, " She muttered to herself.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn nodded and she set two pancakes on her plate with a shaky hand. She spread butter on them before sitting down at the table and eating quietly

message 13: by cecilia (new)

cecilia With a soft sigh, Tawny propped herself up on her elbows and pushed the blankets off her. The jeans she was wearing made her prosthetic leg invisible to anyone who didn't know about it, which seemed to be everyone. Her limp wasn't suspicious, apparently. Tugging on the sleeves of her sweatshirts, she wondered if she'd fallen asleep in her clothes. Apparently she had. She shook her head, mostly to herself, and pushed herself to her feet, frowning at the scars on her hands that she'd never be able to hide. Tawny had always hated the numerous scars she was covered in, whether it be from an experiment or the fire that had nearly killed her, so she did her best to hide them. Limping into the kitchen, she couldn't help but realize that she hid a lot of things.

message 14: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee looked at Madilyn and seemed curious. "Her voice is orange..." He murmured, then looked at Crow, "Yours is black with little bits of blue...I've never seen a voice like that before..." He frowned.

message 15: by Drax (last edited Aug 28, 2013 07:19PM) (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow held out a plate to Tawny, smiling. He hadn't asked her to take it, or if she was hungry, just held it out. He already knew a lot about her that she probably assumed he didn't, because he made it a habit to pay attention to his flock. "Morning," he said, still holding out the plate. Crow looked at Lee. "You say that a lot."

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn looked down at her plate as she ate, not saying anything. Her blonde curls fell in her face and she made no move to brush them away.

message 17: by Delirious (new)

Delirious Pool (deliriousrobin) | 5421 comments Nora watched the leaves they looked like flames, her eyes narrowed on the leaves as her memories started surfacing. She tried to push them back, but nothing could stop as the memory started. She was angry about something, she had forgotten it. She had saw the flames licking up the walls and burst of flames covered the exit. She could handle the flames, but her mother couldn't. She had screamed for her and had tried to stop the flames, but she had no control over them anymore. The flames scorched her mother to death, she had cried that night and her father had blamed it on her. She knew everything that had happened was her fault.

message 18: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Tawny took the plate wordlessly, dropping into a seat and arranging her leg next to her at a slightly natural angle. She wasn't all that hungry, but eating was imperative when you didn't know when your next meal would be. So the redhead ate the pancakes, though she didn't really taste them. Unlike normal, her mind was already lost, and she wasn't in the mood to make sarcastic remarks to anyone about anything. It was a strange mood.

message 19: by Izzy (last edited Aug 28, 2013 07:29PM) (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee frowned a bit more, "S-sorry..." He looked away and backed up a bit towards the door. He wasn't really that hungry, and he just didn't feel like eating. He then rubbed his eyes and moaned tiredly, considering he hadn't slept for a couple days like usual.

message 20: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow looked back to Lee. "Why? I didn't say it was bad, just that you said it a lot. You should probably go grab some rest," he added, reaching in the refrigerator for something. It shut off. "Man... The generator must be out of gas..."

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn looked up and she put her plate in the sink. She gave crow a look that said, "I'll go check on the generator." Madilyn bit her lip before heading to go check on it.

message 22: by Delirious (new)

Delirious Pool (deliriousrobin) | 5421 comments She blinked out of her memory, she felt so tired that she could sleep on the roof, but was worried about starting a fire. She rubbed her eyes, she had black under her eyes from restless sleep at night. She heard her belly grumble and dicided to get some breakfast. She dropped down and walked in seeing the others.

message 23: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee shook his head, "I can't sleep...I've already tried..." He murmured, but went over to the couch an laid down anyways, closing his eyes but still unable to sleep.

message 24: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments ((Iz, *backed* Brittany, *Crow*))

message 25: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments "Good Morning Nora. Want a pancake?" Crow offered, looking over to her. Things sure got busy, fast. Maybe he'd grab some quiet time later.

message 26: by Delirious (new)

Delirious Pool (deliriousrobin) | 5421 comments "Sure, " She shrugged. She grabbed a plate of pancakes, she sat down at the table. She poured syrup on hers, before eating silently.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sorry, gah I'm out of it right now.))

Madilyn checked on the generator. She put more gas into it and started it again. Madilyn sighed in frustration and she kept trying to start it back up.

message 28: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow went out to help Madilyn, since it seemed to be taking awhile. He found her struggling and smiled. "Here, let me do this. Go back inside," he said kindly, taking over.

message 29: by Delirious (new)

Delirious Pool (deliriousrobin) | 5421 comments Nora finished her pancakes, she grabbed her dish and started doing the dishes, to get her mind off of stuff.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn nodded and she walked back inside. She went into the kitchen and started to wash the dishes that were piled up in the sink.

message 31: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments ((Um... Two dishwashers?))

Crow got the generator running again in a moment, and leaned against it for a moment, sighing. He really needed some time right now.

message 32: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee got up after about 15 minutes, still unable to sleep. He groaned and looked at everyone on the kitchen, "I still can't sleep...it's been almost 4 days..."

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

((Lol okay, Ummm. Madilyn shall be helping.))

message 34: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments ((Hello? My Charrie's taking a breather, and another addressed you guys...))

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn looked at Lee and she sighed. "I'm s-sorry" She whispered.

message 36: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Tawny arched an eyebrow in Lee's direction, setting her clean plate in the sink. She wasn't worried about there being real milk in the pancakes, since everyone knew she was lactose intolerant. Eyeing Lee, she crossed Tawny crossed her arms across her chest, her expression bored. If he asked, she could persuade him, but she'd never offer. And for once, she didn't have a sarcastic remark.

message 37: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow walked into the house again, looking over everyone. "Everybody doing alright?" he asked, even though he wasn't.

message 38: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee shook his head, "I still can't sleep Crow...and I just feel awful..." He sat down at the table in the kitchen and laid his head down, closing his eyes gently. He yawned and he ran a hand through his brown hair

message 39: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow pulled out a bottle of Melatonin. "Take two. Knocks me out," he said, handing it to him. He walked upstairs to the bathroom.

message 40: by Izzy (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) Lee did as he was told and soon enough he was passed out in a chair in the living room. He had his wings wrapped around himself for warmth, and he seemed so peaceful as he slept.

message 41: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Ard Rain sat on the roof, watching the sky and hoping it would rain sometime soon. She had always loved it when she could watch the rain fall to the ground from her small barred window at the School. Something about it was just calming, hence the reason she named herself Rain.

message 42: by Drax (last edited Aug 28, 2013 08:28PM) (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow locked the bathroom door, turned on the sink faucet, and turned the wind sharp on his underarms, cutting into them. He had been resisting for days, but finally gave in. He watched the blood drip into the sink.

message 43: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Ard Rain watched the clouds closely, hoping that if she stared at them long enough maybe they would turn dark and start to pour. Though thee was a fat chance of that happening and she knew it.

message 44: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow cut another line on his arms with wind, wincing and clenching his fists. Now four lines of blood dropped from them.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn sighed and she looked around. She silently walked to her room and shut the door behind her. Madilyn pulled out her journal and she began to write, her hand flying across the page. She could write for hours on any topic. Madilyn would write down all of her feelings on paper since she didn't like to talk to anyone.

message 46: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Ard After several moments of cloud watching, Rain sat up having finally decided to head inside. She grabbed her black hoodie and pulled it on before jumping off the roof and doing a flip before she landed easily.

message 47: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Six lines. Crow's pale skin was becoming even lighter, blood draining from his arms. He wondered if he'd kill himself today, as his vision got fuzzy.

message 48: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Ard Rain smiled confidantly to herself when she landed the front flip with ease and minimum pain. Rolling up her sleeves, she entered the front door, imediately scanning the room for Crow.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Madilyn laid on her stomach on the floor in her room and she kept writing. She ignored the aching in her hand and she wrote pages and pages.

message 50: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) | 1354 comments Crow leaned on the sink, wondering if he should stop. He felt somewhat selfish, letting out all this pain that kept him focused. But he couldn't take it anymore.
