Reasons for Being Single..

Okay, I've been single so long, I don't know if I know what a good relationship looks like. Although, it's frustrating to keep going on dates and finding out they are losers, I know its the only process to find someone great.

What I am tired of is the comments from girlfriends, coworkers, church members, family, etc. Everyone tells me their personal reason for why I am still single. I have heard:

-It will happen when it happens (so I guess dating is pointless)
-When you least expect it, it will happen. (I wasn't looking in college...and yeah..still not married)
-God's timing is not our own. (okay...so I guess he just likes you more than me right now)
-Maybe your standards are too high (Maybe I should lower it to include guys that cheat or lie..that would open up the flood gates)

How does a single girl stay positive about dating with a purpose, with all these people telling her why she's still single?

Is there really one reason as to why I'm still single? :-?
