I'd read the White Queen before it was on the BBC, but realised I'd missed the Kingsmaker's Daughter in hardback. Over the summer holidays I've been on a bit of a Philippa Gregory binge - I love reading whole series in one go! I'd like to go back to the True Blood books too; I read the first 7 or so, but then had to wait for her to finish the series so guess I'll have to read them again to get back into it ;)
I watched the show before reading the books, I thought the BBC adaptation was brilliant. I bought the whole set on The Book People and read them pretty quickly straight after each other. I love Phillipa Gregory's writing style and I want to read more historical fiction. I preferred the Rivers' stories to the others. I would like to start the True Blood series but there's so many books now! I have a few in the house at the bottom of my to-read pile!
