ABANDONED. Collection of Short Stories about Women

I was given a short story from a collection of women's short stories which I read at a women's event. The story was about an overweight women who meets a painter who wants to paint her. The painting then hangs in MOMA. Its humorous and about this women accepting herself. I never knew the name and of the book. I lost my copy of the story. Help!
