Ruhi | 15 comments Hi :)

What did you think of the Witch of Portobello?
I started reading it a couple months back, then honestly, I don't know what happened :P

I'm hoping to get back to it, but I am curious of your opinion...

message 15: by Melani D (new)

Melani D Hey Ruhi! I actually didn't think it was all that great. It felt like 65% of the book was this huge build up for something grand, but then it just fizzled out. I just didn't care for it that much.

message 16: by Ruhi (new)

Ruhi | 15 comments really? hmmm.. well, I've been hearing and seeing mixed reviews about it...

I have a couple more books I wish to read before I rush back to it, but when I get there, I'll let you know what i think.

btw, I like your variety of books [your listings :)] They gave me a couple of ideas of 'to-read' books!!

Thanks for the reply :)

Leslie | 312 comments What did you think of Breaking Dawn? I can't bring myself to write a review yet...still deciding how I feel!

message 36: by Melani D (new)

Melani D I just read what you thought of Breaking Dawn. I like what you had to say about it and the correlations to Reviving Ophelia.

Since it was a YA book, I really wasn't expecting too much. Sort of like I don't expect much from a Harlequin Romance other than a quick entertaining read.
