Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4698 comments Listening to the singing solo. The great gig in the sky.

That sounds even better than before

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments Just told Dave.

You've made him feel old.

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4698 comments Listening to it is making me feel young. Wierd

Jim | 21872 comments A really great album. As you say, still as good.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments I'm expecting it to be blasting out of the stereo any second now.

Jim | 21872 comments Funny you should say that :-)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments Ha!

I managed to get the stereo off and the telly on.

First time all weekend!

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11721 comments I was pleased when I heard the girl who did the vocals for great gig in the sky finally got a writing credit for it. bet it sorted out her pension fund, too

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments Id like a pension fund like that!

Shame I am endowed with absolutely no talent.

Will Macmillan Jones (willmacmillanjones) | 11721 comments Sadly she had to go to court for it. And Roger waters a socialist too. Shame on him.

Patti because you are not a vocalist or musician does not make you talentless. I couldn't deal with a room full of small children everyday. At least, not without hiring a professional lion tamer as support.

Jim | 21872 comments That's where you've missed out Will, you don't hire a lion tamer, you just take in the Lion

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 61757 comments No need for lions. I've perfected my teacher stare.

It's OK, I'm immune, what with having a mother, sister, etc all in teaching. Just bounces of me now.
Mind you, it took about fifty years to get to this stage!

Philip (sarah) Willis | 5174 comments Always know Phil's favourite music as he has it in album, cassette and CD format. He spent ages transferring them all on to IPods (Nano and Classic) Backed it all up on a separate hard drive now he listens to everything on Spotify!

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7939 comments Sounds better now than it did when I was young. Probably due to me having a better sound system.
